What is the Best Conditioner for Dry or Damaged Hair?

Since colouring my hair purple last year (after bleaching it), my hair became extremely damaged and tangles really easily. I've been looking for something to combat the dryness and to get my hair in better shape for a while now but nothing I tried has helped very much. When I found this Henna Treatment Wax Intensive Deep Conditioner in a local pharmacy for only €4.99, I had to get it and see if it helped.

I'd heard from different people that this is supposed to be amazing and really restores your hair back to being healthy, shiny and soft. I also heard from my mom that it was a big thing to use years ago when she was young, that everyone was using henna treatments in their hair. So I started using it on my hair once a week. The way it works is that you use your shampoo as normal and then apply it like a normal conditioner, but then you leave it in your hair for a couple of hours, wrapped in a warm towel. Then you just wash it out like normal and dry your hair like you would usually do (I always allow my hair to dry naturally without using a hair dryer because my hair dries quite quickly and it's better for your hair not to use heat on it).

After the first use, I didn't notice any difference in my hair. It still tangled really easily and was quite frizzy. I've been using it for 2 or 3 months now once a week and it has made a difference to my hair. Not an amazing difference where my hair is silky smooth and never tangles but it is easier to manage now. It definitely restored my hair somewhat. I'd say it takes a least 3 or 4 uses before you see a noticeable difference, but then you might see a difference quicker if your hair isn't as damaged as mine.

This Henna Treatment Wax is by Beauty Formulas. As I already said, It was only €4.99 which is really affordable but I guess you get what you pay for. It did restore my hair somewhat but I don't think it is a revolutionary product that makes your hair instantly restored back to how it was before. So here is my question: What is the best conditioner out there for dry or damaged hair? Have you found one? Let me know in the comments below.

I really need to sort my hair out soon, both colour and quality. I'm planning on going back to brown soon because the colour seems to be ruining it and also, I don't really like the colour anymore, especially when it gets faded looking. I hope you liked this blog post. If you did, the please give it a love on Bloglovin or give it a +1 on Google Plus. I hope you have a great day, and I'll talk to you soon.

Friday Favourite #4: Soap & Glory's Glad Hair Day Intensive Conditioner for Full, Frizzy or Fried Hair

Hey Guys!
This week's Friday Favourite is Soap & Glory's Glad Hair Day Intensive Conditioner for Full, Frizzy or Fried Hair. As you can probably tell by now from reading the rest of my blog, I love Soap and Glory products and this one isn't an exception. The thing that draws my attention to Soap & Glory is the gorgeous packaging. I love the 50's theme that runs throughout their products. My favourite thing about the Glad Hair Day Intensive Conditioner is it's scent. IT SMELLS AMAZING!! I can't even explain how nice it smells. Also, I find that it leaves my hair really soft and conditioned which is hard for me to find because I have fairly thick, curly hair that is very dry so the fact that it leaves my hair really soft makes me really like this conditioner. I recently ran out of this conditioner and have purchased it again, and plan to keep repurchasing it in the future. It is fairly expensive for conditioner (€7.75 at Boots) but since it is so intensive you don't need to use it very often so it lasts for quite a long time. If you have normal or thin hair, Soap & Glory also do Glad Hair Day for normal to fine hair-type that you could try; but If your hair is very dry or thick and you want it to smell amazing I would really recommend the intensive conditioner... Love It!!

BOOTS HAUL!!

Hey Guys!! I was recently in Boots and I picked up a few things :)

I found out that a Boots not too far from me sold Real Techniques brushes so i was really excited to go get some more.(I got the stippling brush and stater set from Amazon a few weeks ago because i couldn't find any at my local boots. You can read that blog post here.) I decided to get the blush brush because I read a lot of good things about it online and I like the fact that it could be used not only for blush but for contour, highlighter and powder too. I got the blush brush for €12.99.
The next thing I got was Maybelline the Falsies mascara. I recently ran out of my Benefit They're Real mascara and I thought i would try the Falsies because it is considerably cheaper than the Benefit mascara (at €11.99 whereas Benefits is €27) and I have been wanting to try it for a while because a lot of people swear by this mascara.
The next thing I got is the Soap & Glory Super-Colour Fabu Lip Stick in the colour The Missing Pink. My sister had this lipstick already and I tried it and loved it. It's the perfect colour for everyday and it smells like vanilla which i really like. It was dear enough for a lipstick (€12.50), but since I will be using it almost everyday I think that it will be worth it.
The last two things I got were hair products, both conditioners in fact. I got the Soap & Glory Glad Hair Day Intensive Conditioner for Full, Frizzy or Fried Hair (€7.75) because I had ran out of my old one which I loved (review coming soon) and then i got a small bottle of renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Condioner (€2.99) because I wanted to try out Argan Oil and see if it lived up to the hype, but I didn't know if I wanted a big bottle yet because it was quite expensive for conditioner (over €10) and also I wanted to keep using my Soap & Glory Conditioner after the small bottle ran out.

Let me know if you want me to review any of the above products by leaving a comment down below.
