Soap & Glory Kick Ass Concealer Review

If you been reading my blog for a while then you will probably know by now that I've been on the hunt for the "ultimate" concealer for a while. I found some pretty great ones but I've still kept looking for the least expensive, best quality concealer. Today, I am reviewing the Soap & Glory Kick Ass Concealer in the colour light. This is a concealer that I wanted for quite a while before I actually got it. I got it in Boots for €13.50. I feel like it's a pretty mid-range concealer in terms of its price. It's not as cheap as something like the Collection concealer but it's not as expensive as something like the Bobbi Brown one.
One thing I love about this concealer is that you get an entire package for your money, not just a tube of concealer. It comes in a hard circular case which not only holds the concealer, but powder to set it with and a small mirror to look in when you are fixing your makeup. You also get two different shades of concealer, a yellow toned one, and a pink toned one. I love the packaging in terms of its design and it is so handy when you are on the go. It's the perfect concealer for travelling.
Now onto the actual concealer and its quality. The concealer is quite thick so it does have quite a bit of coverage, I'd say at least medium coverage if not high. Not only are they thick but they are quite creamy so they are easy to blend in, and you don't need to worry about rushing to blend them in before  they dry out. I am kind of obsessed with the yellow toned shade, it's probably the main reason why I like this set so much. I don't really use the pink shade that much because I think it is supposed to be used under your eyes, and I prefer to use the yellow shade for that. One of the only downsides of these concealers is that they aren't very close to my skin tone and sometimes need to be sorta mixed with foundation to look right on my face. I've found that it lasts quite well on my skin (Normal/combination) although I've heard that it fades quite quickly on oily skin so If you have oily skin this might not be the concealer for you.
Here are some swatches of the products:
Overall, I really like this concealer, mostly for covering my dark circles above anything else. They are good coverage, and they come with a mirror and a powder to set them. I love the packaging and it is so easy to travel with. It could be cheaper but I feel like you do get quite a lot for the price. This is one of the better concealers that I've used and I would definitely recommend it. Have you ever tried this concealer? Let me know in the comments below. Also if you liked this post then please make sure to love it on Bloglovin or give it a +1 on Google Plus. I hope you have a great day and I'll talk to you soon.

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Buttercream Review

Hey guys, today I am reviewing Soap & Glory's Sugar Crush Body Buttercream. First off, I have to say that sugar crush is my favourite Soap &Glory scent. It smells so nice. It's a very sugary sweet smelling product that consists of shea butter, cocoa butter, almond oil, coconut oil, lime oil, kiwi juice water and lime tree blossom extract. The sugar crush scent does not only come in a body butter but also a body wash, a body scrub, body spray and fragrance mist.
This body buttercream is the same consistency of S&G's The Righteous butter and other body butters. It is so amazing at moisturising your skin. It leaves you feeling so silky smooth, especially if you use the sugar crush body scrub before hand (click here to read my Sugar Crush Scrub review). Those two products (along with a razor) are my secret to ridiculously smooth legs. The great thing about this product, and the body scrub, along with most of the other Soap & Glory products is that they come in travel sized versions like the one I have in the picture above. This means that not only can you bring them anywhere but you can easily try them out without investing too much money on something you are not sure about.
If you aren't crazy about the sweet smelling sugar crush scent you can get a different S&G scrub or body butter because they basic do different ranges (of all the same products) which consist of different scents. This means that you can get basically the exact same product but with their original pink scent or any other of their scents including orangeasm, smoothie star, fruitigo and mist you madly. Out of all these scents, there has to be one that you absolutely love so they're is no excuse to go try this product as soon as possible. You can get this product at your nearest Boots store or, if you don't have a Boots near you, you can buy it here on Amazon.

I hope you enjoyed this post! If you did make sure to save it on Bloglovin or give it a +1 on Google Plus. Have you tried the Soap & Glory range before? If so, what is you favourite product? Let me know in the comments below.

My Soap & Glory Wishlist (Makeup)

Hey guys, today I was browsing through the Soap & Glory website and saw some makeup items that I would love to try out. Although above they are labelled by numbers, the items are in no order of preference. Okay, so onto the products.

1. Smooch Operator Lip Butter Balm €5.85 (£5)
I love lip balms so I want this. I don't think there is anything different about it than other lip balms but from the reviews I've read, it is extremely moisturising and it lasts for a really long time. Since I've tried Soap & Glory's bath and body products before which are almost always both of those things, I believe that this would be a great product for the winter months to keep your lips from getting chapped.

2. Peach Party Multi-Colour Blush Brick €12.87 (£11)
I really love peachy toned makeup products and I have the pink version of this (Love At First Blush), so I thought that this product would be perfect for me. It also has gold and copper tones to luminise the skin and give you a gorgeous glow which is great because who doesn't want gorgeous radiant skin.

3. Kick Ass Blur & Brighten Concealer Crayon €7.02  (£6)
I had the original Kick Ass concealer on a wishlist that I wrote a couple of months ago but I haven't gotten around to getting it yet so instead of putting the same thing twice, I decided to include this concealer crayon which is supposed to be really similar to the original but it is in crayon form for easy application.  The perfect product to just pop in your handbag when you are on the go.

4. The Daily Double All-Day Lid Shadow Colour & Liner Stick €9.95 (£8.50)
I rarely use lid shadow crayons but I love the idea of them. This product is a 2 in 1 product with both a shadow crayon and an eye liner. I'd love to give it a try and see what it's like. Also, it comes in a couple of different colours so that you have a few to choose from.

5. Supercat Carbon Black Extreme Eyeliner Pen  €7.02 (£6)
I love eyeliner pens. Every time I see one, I want to try it out and see what it's like. This one looks really cool and looks easy to use. It reminds me of the Essence one that I love but I've ran out of.

So those are the products that I'm dying to try out at the moment. I hope you liked this post. Do you have any of the products from this post? Which would you like to try out the most? Leave a comment down below.

My Top 5 Soap and Glory Products (Bath and Body)

Hey guys, today I wanted to share my top 5 bath and body products by Soap & Glory with you. Soap and Glory is my favourite brand for bath and body, and I love all these products a lot.

I love this conditioner. It smells amazing and always leaves my hair feeling super soft. I usually buy this in the full sized bottle that retails at about €7 but I couldn't find it on the Soap & Glory website so I've linked the travel sized one. I have previously written an entire blog post reviewing this item which you can read here if you would like to hear more about it.

This is my favourite shower gel ever. It smells so nice and clean, and a little bit really goes a long way. This product will last you such a long time. For €7 you get a 500ml bottle so it takes a really long time to get through.

This body scrub is amazing. It smell so nice and sugary, and it leaves your skin feeling so smooth. I also have written a full review of this product before which you can read here if you want to.

This is the best body butter that I've ever used. It makes your skin so silky soft, especially when used after the Sugar Crush Body Scrub. It is another one of the Soap & Glory products that takes a really long time to use up because its effects lasts for days so you don't need to use it everyday.

If you have dry or scaly feet then this product is the one for you. It moisturises your feet so well and will make them look and feel amazing . After buying this product you will never have tough tootsies again.

I hope you like this post. If you did, please give it a like on Bloglovin. Let me know in the comments down below if you would like me to do another top 5 blog post of a different brand. Also, make sure to check out my International Giveaway to WIN AN URBAN DECAY NAKED 3 PALETTE here. (closing date is the 27th May 2014)

Soap & Glory Crazy Sexy Kohl Review

Hey guys, today I want to review the Soap & Glory Crazy Sexy Kohl set. I got this set for Christmas but you can buy a lot of these eyeliner kohls separately. Not only does the set come with five different colour smoulder kohls but I also comes with three gorgeous shades of eye shadow.
The five colours of smoulder kohls that are in the set are Superblack (a black), Cocoa Bean (a brown), Aquabat (a metallic greenish colour), Blue My Mind ( a metallic blue colour) and Grapevine ( a metallic purple colour). I really like the quality of these pencils. They are really pigmented and waterproof. They are also perfect for smudging or smoking out with a brush but then if you don't smoke them out they don't end up all over your face, they stay put for a really long time. Here are some swatches of the colours and a picture of me wearing Aquabat:

I also really love the three eye shadows that come in the set. They are Aubersheen, Smokin' and Dandy Plum. They are such pretty shimmery neutral shades. Here are the swatches:
Overall, I really like this set and don't have anything bad to say about it. The smoulder kohls and eye shadows are really good quality and I love all the colours. I'm so glad I got this set. I might do a eye makeup look later this week with it for you all so make sure to check back to see that.

I hope you liked this post. Please give it a like on Bloglovin or a +1 on Google Plus if you did. If you are interested in getting this Soap & Glory set, you can buy it here on Amazon.

Shop My Stash

Hey guys, lately I've been trying not to spend as much money because I'm still trying to find a part-time job after returning from France and am rapidly going through my savings, so I thought this was a great time to do a shop my stash post. If you don't know already, shop my stash is when you go through all of your makeup and beauty products and pick out things that you have either forgot about or just haven't used in a long time, so basically its kind of like doing a haul of stuff you already have which is great if you are trying to save money! So here is what I picked:

The first thing I picked was this Powder Trip palette by Soap and Glory that I got for Christmas which I love but completely forgot that I had it because of the way I had stored it in my makeup collection. I already mentioned this in a blog post before which you can read here. I can't wait to start using this again, I can't believe that I forgot that I had it.

The next thing I picked is another Soap and Glory product, their Peaches and Clean cleansing milk. I love this cleansing milk and wrote a review about it which you can read here. When I went to France, I didn't have room in my suitcase to pack it and then I forgot about it when I cam home four months later. I really love using this to remove my makeup and it always leaves my skin feeling so soft so I'm glad that I remembered that I had it.

The next thing I chose is this Essie nail polish in the colour Mind Your Mittens. I love this colour and bought it in France right before I came home. I'd say I only wore it once or twice in France, and once I came home and unpacked I kind of forgot about it because have been mostly only wearing the same wine-y colour on my nails recently.

The next thing I chose is Benefit's The Porefessional. Lately I've been skipping the primer in my makeup routine because I'm always in a hurry whenever I'm doing my makeup. I do love how this primer gives my skin a flawless finish though so I'm gonna start using it again.

The next two items I chose is a No 7 lipstick in the colour Gay Geranium and a Kiko lip liner to match. Together these two products create a bright orange-y toned lip. I really like the idea of a bright lip but sometimes I feel like I mightn't be able to pull it off or that I might look like a bit of a clown so I've been avoiding using them. I really want to wear it sometime soon to at least try it out and see what everyone thinks of it. I might do a FOTD with it on my blog soon so you can let me know what you think.

The last thing I chose is another Soap and Glory product. Clean On Me is my favourite shower gel but like a couple of other items in this post, I forgot about it when I came back from France. My mom had organised all my room and my bathroom for me before I came home so when Clean On Me wasn't in my shower, I just used whatever was there, but now that I've found it again, it's going straight back in my shower.
So that was my Shop my Stash blog post, I hope you liked it. If you did, give it a like on Bloglovin or a +1 on Google Plus. If you have done a Shop my Stash blog post before or have been inspired to by this one, leave a link to your blog post in the comments below because I would love to see them.

Christmas 2013 Haul

Hey guys! Today's post is a haul of all the beauty items and other things that I got for Christmas that I thought I would show you. I've tried out a few of them already so I'll let you know what I think of them so far as well in this post.
The first thing in this haul are these Ruby brushes with brush belt included. There are six essential makeup brushes that I will definitely use. I had never heard of Ruby brushes before but they look and feel like really good quality. I will let you know more once I've had the chance to test them out a bit but I am really happy with this present.

The second thing is my Christmas haul is this gorgeous River Island wallet. I just really like the design of it and quickly transferred all the stuff in my old wallet into this one. I really love River Island for wallets, they always do really nice ones.

The next thing is this Get the Look, Loveable Luxuries makeup set. There are a lot of things in this set including some gorgeous shimmery eye shadows, eyeliner, nail polish and lip gloss. I really like the colours of the eye shadows and I can't wait to try out some looks with them. I also think that the nail polish is a gorgeous colour, really metallic and edgy.

I also got this River Island London perfume. I can't really explain the scent but the River Island website says that it is a "fruity cocktail on top accompanied by addictive gourmand notes on the drydown". I've only tried it once and I'm not sure if I like it or not yet so i'm going to try it some more and see if I can get used to it.

I got two CD's for Christmas that I picked out myself and the first is Eminem's new album The Marshall Mathers LP 2. I love Eminem and have listened to this CD a few times since I got it. I really like it and my favourite songs so far are Berzerk, Rap God, The Monster, Survival and Legacy.

The second CD I got is the new One Direction Album Midnight Memories The Ultimate Edition. I really like this album too. I've listened to it quite a lot. My favourite songs on it are You & I, Strong, Better than Words, Story of my Life and Best Song Ever. I have the other two One Direction albums and I listen to them all the time and I think that it will be the same with this one.

I also got this Soap and Glory Crazy Sexy Kohl set. It has five smoulder kohl eye pencils in different colours and three Soap and Glory eye shadows. I've already used one of the kohl eye pencils and they are really good for smoking out a look. I thought that because of this that they would smudge easily throughout the day but it didn't. It was also really pigmented and I barely had to lean with the pencil for the colour to come out. I haven't tried the eye shadows yet but I really love the colours.

I got another Soap and Glory set called Powder Trip which I absolutely love. It has both brush and bronzer in and I really love the shades. I think I'm gonna use this a lot because I don't have many blushes or bronzers so I'm glad I have more of a selection now.

So that was my Christmas haul, I hope you liked it. If you did, make sure to like this post on bloglovin or give it a plus 1 on Google Plus. I hope everyone had a great Christmas :)
