Warm Bodies (Film Review)

Hey guys, recently I watched the film Warm Bodies with Nicholas Hoult and thought that I should write a small review of it for you. First of all, I really loved the idea for this film. It was really cool to watch a movie that was from a Zombie's point of view. In most zombie films, the zombies are the brain-dead enemies and we never see things from their point of view. I loved that in this film we saw them from a different side, that everything isn't so black and white. It isn't always that humans are the good guys and zombies are the bad guys. It also made the idea of zombies a little sadder, that they are sort of stuck in these slow-moving, grumbling bodies, not being able to communicate with anyone else. I'm not crazy about the typical zombie films, they are alright but they aren't one of my favourite types of films. I wanted to see this since it first came out in cinema but I just never got around to it. It was just really intriguing to me; a zombie falling in love with a human and trying to be with her.

I like Nicholas Hoult and he did really well as a zombie in this film. Given that most of the time all he could do was grunt, he was able to show the wide range of emotions that was felt by the zombie and make the audience really feel for the character. I don't want to give away too much about the film because I know a lot of you mightn't have seen it so I will just say that if you still haven't, it's worth the watch. It wasn't Shakespeare or anything but it was just really cool and different from any love stories/zombie films that I had seen before. If you have seen it, make sure to let me know what you thought of it down in the comments below. I'd love to know what you thought. Talk to you soon.

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Buttercream Review

Hey guys, today I am reviewing Soap & Glory's Sugar Crush Body Buttercream. First off, I have to say that sugar crush is my favourite Soap &Glory scent. It smells so nice. It's a very sugary sweet smelling product that consists of shea butter, cocoa butter, almond oil, coconut oil, lime oil, kiwi juice water and lime tree blossom extract. The sugar crush scent does not only come in a body butter but also a body wash, a body scrub, body spray and fragrance mist.
This body buttercream is the same consistency of S&G's The Righteous butter and other body butters. It is so amazing at moisturising your skin. It leaves you feeling so silky smooth, especially if you use the sugar crush body scrub before hand (click here to read my Sugar Crush Scrub review). Those two products (along with a razor) are my secret to ridiculously smooth legs. The great thing about this product, and the body scrub, along with most of the other Soap & Glory products is that they come in travel sized versions like the one I have in the picture above. This means that not only can you bring them anywhere but you can easily try them out without investing too much money on something you are not sure about.
If you aren't crazy about the sweet smelling sugar crush scent you can get a different S&G scrub or body butter because they basic do different ranges (of all the same products) which consist of different scents. This means that you can get basically the exact same product but with their original pink scent or any other of their scents including orangeasm, smoothie star, fruitigo and mist you madly. Out of all these scents, there has to be one that you absolutely love so they're is no excuse to go try this product as soon as possible. You can get this product at your nearest Boots store or, if you don't have a Boots near you, you can buy it here on Amazon.

I hope you enjoyed this post! If you did make sure to save it on Bloglovin or give it a +1 on Google Plus. Have you tried the Soap & Glory range before? If so, what is you favourite product? Let me know in the comments below.

Life's A Beach | Styled Beachwear Look

Hey guys, today I decided to put together a beach look because I know a lot of ye are going on holidays soon and might like some inspiration. The look I created is a monochrome one that I think is pretty glamorous for the beach so you look amazing on your holiday. So here are the items in the look:

1. Black Printed Embellished Kimono - River Island (€55)
I decided to pick a kimono because they are quite light and easy to throw on over a bikini or swimsuit. This one has cool detailing around the neck that extends down to the hip area. I like that this is fairly simple in that it is black and white but also that it isn't just a plan kimono because it has a cool flowery pattern. It's pretty expensive but you could always buy a cheaper alternative in Primark if you are on a budget.

2. Belted Plunge Swimsuit- ASOS (€41.09)
I love this swimsuit. It is so cool! It takes the idea of a simple black swimsuit and makes it ten times better. This is probably my favourite piece of this look. It's pretty expensive for a swimsuit but I just really like it. If you wanted to recreate this look on a budget, you could always buy a standard black swimsuit but I think it would be better to buy cheaper alternatives of the accessories so you could splurge on this swimsuit.

3. Black Drawstring Beach Bag- River Island (€55)
This bag is perfect for the beach. It's a great size to fit your towels, sunglasses, sun cream, magazines and whatever else you need. I love the pattern of this bag but I think a beach bag is something you don't need to spend a lot on. Although I would probably try find a cheaper one to bring to the beach, this one could be doubled up as a overnight bag as well as a beach bag to get more value for you money.

4. Glossy Flay Sandals - ZARA (€25.95)
There is not much to say about these sandals. They are simple, chic and would go with almost anything you want on your holidays. They could be put with this look, but they could also be worn with a maxi dress, playsuit or shorts and top combo. They would also be great because, for something that could be worn with so many looks, it wouldn't take up much room in your suitcase.

5. Black Glamorous Cat Eye Sunglasses- River Island (€17)
I love big over-sized cat eye sunglasses so I thought that these would be great to add to the look. They sort of take the look to the next level making it more glamorous (Victoria Beckham wouldn't get a look in :P )

I hope you enjoyed this post and it gave you some beachwear inspiration whether money is no object or if you are on a budget. Are you going on a holiday soon? Where are you going? Let me know in the comments below and i'll talk to you soon.

River Island London Perfume Review

Hey guys, today I am reviewing the River Island London perfume. This is a pretty inexpensive perfume and only costs €13/£10 for 30ml. I have to say straight off the bat that I'm not crazy about the scent. I got it as a present and it's a little too sweet for my taste. It's a very girly scent but it a bit overpoweringly sweet and fruity.

I like the simple packaging of this perfume though; a purple bottle with round black top. I also really like the name because I love London. It's one of my favourite places so I have absolutely no complaints about the name. It seems to last quiet a long time too and isn't one of those perfumes that fades away in the first hour of wearing it. The only thing that's getting me is the scent,it's just not for me. Although, I'm not in love with the scent of this perfume, lots of other people seem to like it, including members of my family and other beauty bloggers online so I would recommend trying a sample in the shop to see what you make of it. Just because I don't like it doesn't mean that you won't either.

River Island describes this perfume as "sweet and cheeky". They then go on to say,"you won’t resist this forbidden delight that gathers a mouthwatering fruity cocktail on top accompanied by addictive gourmand notes on the drydown. It is cool, effortless and a real statement fragrance for our chic girl." If that sounds like something you would like then make sure to pop into your nearest River Island to see if they have it, or if you are a rebel, who will risk getting a scent that you mightn't like, then you can order it here on River Island's website

I hope you enjoyed this post!! If you did, make sure to save it on Bloglovin or give it a +1 on Google Plus. Have you ever tried this perfume before or any of the other River Island perfumes? Let me know in the comment section below!

Coconut Oil: My New Favourite Beauty Product

Hey guys, today I thought that I would tell you about my new favourite beauty product; coconut oil. I've started using it lately and it's great for some many different things, one of my favourites being removing my makeup.

Here are some of the beauty related uses for coconut oil:
As a makeup remover - helps to melt away even the toughest eye makeup
As a body lotion - naturally adds moisture to the skin
As a leave in conditioner for hair - naturally adds moisture to hair
Mix it with sugar to form a lip scrub
As a breath neutraliser and teeth whitener- when gargled around in your mouth for 15-20 minutes(aka oil pulling)
To shave your legs with
As a cuticle or nail oil
Cocunut oil isn't only an amazing beauty product, it also has great health benefits if used in different ways. It almost seems that the health benefits of coconut oil are endless so here are just a few:

Some heath benefits of coconut oil:
Improves gum health (By oil pulling)
Is better for you than vegetable oil for cooking as it's less fattening
It is said to lower your risk of heart disease (when ingested)
It strengthens the immune system
It helps to treat skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis (when applied directly to the skin)

So there you have it, my new favourite product! I've been using this over the past few weeks to remove my makeup and I absolutely love it! I love how versatile and inexpensive it is. It's only around €8 for this big tub in Tescos and it can be used as your make up remover, moisturiser, shaving cream, body lotion, teeth whitener or just as a cooking oil to make your meals a bit healthier. I would definitely recommend it. Have you ever used coconut oil as a beauty product before? Let me know in the comments below.
