My Style Crush | Ariana Grande

I feel like I haven't been very fashionable lately. I've been mostly wearing what it comfortable and quick to put on. I'd love to be one of those people who always wears amazing, fashionable clothes but my main issue is being cold. I always seem to be cold so I end up just wearing hoodies or sweatshirts and still end up being cold. When I actually am having a good day in regards to fashion and makeup, the trends I love are over-sized shirts and jackets, and I'm literally obsessed with checked shirts wrapped around the waist. This is where Ariana Grande comes in. She rocks both of those looks along with some other great casual ones which I love. One of my favourite things about her style is that she makes casual outfits seem dressy by either adding a pair of killer heels or by her stunning hair and makeup. This is why she is my new style crush.

I really need to get one of those over-sized denim jackets, although I'm not sure if I would be able to pull it off. I love how Ariana uses denim so much in her style, whether it is her ripped or stonewashed jeans or one of her over-sized jackets. She always looks cool and stylish at the same time. What do you think? Do you like Ariana Grande's style or is it just not for you? Let me know in the comments below. Also, make sure to tell me who your current style crush is. I hope you are having a great day and I'll talk to you soon.

Best and Worst Dressed at the Golden Globes 2017

So awards season has come around again and I thought that for today's post I would show you my best and worst dressed from the Golden Globes 2017. So without further ado, here are my best dressed:

Best Dressed

Lily Collins
Lily Collins looked amazing in this girly Zuhair Murad gown. The light pink material paired with the bright red lip and her porcelain skin is absolutely stunning. She is my best dressed of the night.
Lily Collins wearing Zuhair Murad at the Golden Globes 2017
Mandy Moore
I loved this look on Mandy Moore. This stunning Naeem Khan dress with a plunging neckline and flowing cape looked gorgeous on her.  She was a very close contender for best dressed.
 Naomie Harris
This golden figure hugging dress looks perfect on Naomie Harris. She looks amazing.
Emma Stone
I love this gown on Emma Stone. The stars on the dress were inspired by the Film La La Land which she won an award for on the night. Also, her hair and makeup is gorgeous as always.
 Kristen Bell
Kristen Bell looked stunning in this glittery Jenny Packham dress with plunging neckline. I like how the plunge wasn't a typical V-neck and didn't make her look overly sexy or trashy. She still looked chic and classy even with a plunging neckline.
Evan Rachel Wood
Evan Rachel Wood rocked a different sort of look from her previous ones at the Golden Globes. Instead of wearing a dress, which she admits she loves to do and has nothing against, she wore a fitted Altuzarra suit to show women that they don't have to wear a dress if they don't want to, and she definitely pulled it off.
Millie Bobby Brown
Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown looked really pretty in this sparkly Jenny Packham dress. Her entire look, from dress to hair to makeup was chic and elegant. A great look for the Golden Globes.
So those were all my best dressed of the night, now onto my worst dressed:

Worst Dressed

Anna Chlumsky
This frumpy dress did no favours for Anna Chlumsky. There was no real shape to the dress and I really don't like the colour on her.
Kerry Washington
From the waist up, I don't mind this dress, and she killed it with hair and makeup but the bottom half of the dress lets it down. I also really hate the weird detailing on the waist. Even with just that gone, I think the dress would be much better.
Janelle Monae
When I first saw Janelle Monae on the red carpet, I saw her from the waist up and thought, this girl is in the running for best dressed. Then I saw the entire look and was let down. I think if the bottom of the dress was full length then it would be fine but it doesn't work as a mullet dress. All things aside though, I have to say, her hair and makeup looks STUNNING!!
So those are my picks for best and worst dressed at the Golden Globes 2017. Let me know in the comments below who were your best and worst dressed of the night. Also, if you liked this post, please give it a love on Bloglovin or a +1 on Google Plus. I hope you have a great day and I'll talk to you soon.

Kylie Jenner | Steal Her Style

Hey guys, today I was on Polyvore and I put together this Kylie Jenner inspired look. It is my first attempt at a polyvore collage so I went for something simple enough. I really love this casual look with black ankle boots (one of my favourite things in the world). The tank-top is referencing the movie The Duff, where the Duff stands for the designated ugly fat friend, basically meaning you have been friend zoned by someone. Although, I can't see many people friendzoning Kylie. The items that I chose are very affordable and the entire look comes to just over €100, which is great because that includes a killer pair of ankle boots. Anyway, here are the links to the items in case you would like to buy them or even just find out more about them:

So there you have it.. the entire Kylie Jenner inspired look. I hope you liked this different sort of blog post. Make sure to leave a comment below if you would like to see more Steal Her Style posts from me and also please save it on Bloglovin or give it a +1 on Google Plus. I hope you are having a great week and I'll talk to you soon.

Je Ne Sais Pas | Casual Street Look

As I was scrolling along the River Island website recently, I put together a casual look with some of the items I saw. This is sort of a casual daytime look to wear to college or shopping with friends.

The first item I chose was this khaki green bomber jacket. I have been obsessed with green bomber jackets lately. I bought one like this in a small high street shop for €25 euros and I love it. It is one of my favourite things to wear when it's not too cold out.
Next, I chose these black chunky ankle boots which I love a lot! My sister has these and I really want a pair too. They are the perfect accessory for the cooler months.
One of my favourite items from this look is the oversized Je Ne Sais Pas T-shirt. This would have come in so handy back in college when I was studying french and this was my go-to phrase (I don't know). Anytime a teacher would ask me a question in French, I could just point to my t-shirt :P I really like the simplicity of this t-shirt; the white font on the black, with the small area of designed material behind the letters.
I have never been a fan of fringed clothes or accessories, it always seemed a little too western to me. When it comes to handbags, however, it seems that I love fringe. It really just adds a bit of edginess to an outfit. Also, I love the relaxed feel of this handbag, you could wear it with almost anything.
And last of all, I chose a staple product; the black high waisted skinny jeans. River Island's jeans are great quality so I thought these would be perfect as the final item of the look.

So that was a quick look that I put together. I hope you enjoyed this post! If you did, then please save it on Bloglovin or give it a +1 on Google Plus. Also, leave a comment below of what your favourite piece from the look is. Talk to you soon.

Into The Woods | Styled Fashion Look

Today I thought I would show you a look that I've been wearing lately. My style has always been slightly edgy/ rock chickish and I tend to go between that and a more fun/casual gangsta style with snapbacks. Ever since the checked red flannel shirt came back into fashion, I've been obsessed! I've already bought three or four different flannel shirts because I love them so much. One of my favourite things to  them with are with black ripped jeans. For this look, I put them with blue stone washed jeans, a white slogan tee-shirt, a leather jacket and black ankle boots.

Jacket: Zara
"Not Your Bae" Top: H&M
Checked Flannel Shirt: Penneys/Primark
Stone Washed Jeans: Penneys/Primark
Black Ankle Boots: boohoo.com
Bag: Penneys/ Primark
Red Bandana: Penneys/Primark
Lipstick: Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish (01)

I hope you enjoyed this post. If you did then please save it on Bloglovin or give it a +1 in Google Plus. Also, let me know in the comments below what your favourite look to wear with a red lip is or if you even like to wear red lipstick.  Talk to you soon.

Fedora Chic | Casual Street Style Inspiration

Hey guys, today I put together this casual look with some pieces from from River Island. I really like it and the idea of wearing a fedora, although I've never worn one before. Also, I'm starting to realise that I have a very big obsession with boots and want almost every pair I see so I had to put some in the look. Below are the links to the each individual item and the reasons why I chose them.

1. Beige Neppy Sleeveless Top - River Island (€16)
This is a nice, simple top that would go with almost anything. I love the colour and the style; a perfect staple for any wardrobe.

2. Black Coated Ripped Knee Molly Jeggings - River Island (€55)
I love ripped black jeans and jegging and already have a pair that I got from Penneys for only €8 that I wear all the time. These River Island ones are gorgeous but a bit overpriced so I'd recommend getting the Penneys ones unless you want a pair that is a bit more high quality.

3. Mink Oversized Fedora Hat - River Island (€37)
I love the mink colour of this hat, it's so pretty! Don't worry- it's not made of mink which is what I thought when I first read the name. If I was going to get a fedora I would love to get one like this but I don't know if I could spend so much on something that I don't know if I would be able to pull off. I think I'll have to find one that is cheaper to buy and see how much I wear it before I get one for almost €40.

4. Grey Rose Gold Round Watch - River Island (€30)
This watch is gorgeous. I love rose gold jewelry and the style of this watch is so pretty! It also came in pink which was equally as nice but I think it's out of stock now. The neutrality of this watch means that you could wear it with so many different outfits and get a lot of wear out of it.

5. Gold Tone Filigree Pendant Necklace - River Island (€6)
This is a gorgeous, simple pendant necklace. I'm not a big fan of jewelry, especially necklaces but this is the kind of that I like, really casual and relaxed.

6. Black Heeled Chelsea Boots - River Island (€50)
As I've already said, I love boots so much, especially ankle boots. I saw a couple of other pairs on the River Island website that I really want but I always have to try to resist from buying boots because I have quite a few pairs already. These ones are really great and they also come in brown which I want as well haha. In an ideal world I would be able to buy as many pairs of boots in every colour possible but in reality, spending €100 on boots that I don't need is not such a great idea. Oh well, a girl can dream..

This was NOT a sponsored post although all the items were from River Island, I just really like their clothes! I hope you enjoyed this post and liked the look. Make sure to save it on Bloglovin or give it a +1 on Google Plus if you did. Also, please leave a comment below letting me know which item was your favourite from the look. I'll talk to you soon.

Life's A Beach | Styled Beachwear Look

Hey guys, today I decided to put together a beach look because I know a lot of ye are going on holidays soon and might like some inspiration. The look I created is a monochrome one that I think is pretty glamorous for the beach so you look amazing on your holiday. So here are the items in the look:

1. Black Printed Embellished Kimono - River Island (€55)
I decided to pick a kimono because they are quite light and easy to throw on over a bikini or swimsuit. This one has cool detailing around the neck that extends down to the hip area. I like that this is fairly simple in that it is black and white but also that it isn't just a plan kimono because it has a cool flowery pattern. It's pretty expensive but you could always buy a cheaper alternative in Primark if you are on a budget.

2. Belted Plunge Swimsuit- ASOS (€41.09)
I love this swimsuit. It is so cool! It takes the idea of a simple black swimsuit and makes it ten times better. This is probably my favourite piece of this look. It's pretty expensive for a swimsuit but I just really like it. If you wanted to recreate this look on a budget, you could always buy a standard black swimsuit but I think it would be better to buy cheaper alternatives of the accessories so you could splurge on this swimsuit.

3. Black Drawstring Beach Bag- River Island (€55)
This bag is perfect for the beach. It's a great size to fit your towels, sunglasses, sun cream, magazines and whatever else you need. I love the pattern of this bag but I think a beach bag is something you don't need to spend a lot on. Although I would probably try find a cheaper one to bring to the beach, this one could be doubled up as a overnight bag as well as a beach bag to get more value for you money.

4. Glossy Flay Sandals - ZARA (€25.95)
There is not much to say about these sandals. They are simple, chic and would go with almost anything you want on your holidays. They could be put with this look, but they could also be worn with a maxi dress, playsuit or shorts and top combo. They would also be great because, for something that could be worn with so many looks, it wouldn't take up much room in your suitcase.

5. Black Glamorous Cat Eye Sunglasses- River Island (€17)
I love big over-sized cat eye sunglasses so I thought that these would be great to add to the look. They sort of take the look to the next level making it more glamorous (Victoria Beckham wouldn't get a look in :P )

I hope you enjoyed this post and it gave you some beachwear inspiration whether money is no object or if you are on a budget. Are you going on a holiday soon? Where are you going? Let me know in the comments below and i'll talk to you soon.

New Wardrobe Organisation

Hey guys! Recently I went on a shopping spree and I was forced to deal with the awful state my wardrobe was in. At the time, I didn't go near the wardrobe, and most of the clothes that I wore were in piles on my office chair and out on my bookshelf. I never wore anything out of the wardrobe or drawers because they were really disorganised and I didn't know where anything went. Nothing had a place. I decided once and for all to deal with the mess that was my closet so I would be able to wear all my new clothes, and the old ones that I had almost forgot were there. So I did a massive clear-out and now everything has a place. Here is the new layout of my wardrobe:
On the top shelf I have all my jumpers and skirts folded. Then I have some going out bags, pajamas and bikinis that I don't need for everyday at the real back. Everything else is hanging, folded in my chest of drawers or out by the shoes.
The fist section of hanging clothes is all my jackets, hoodys and sweatshirts. Then I have my two checked shirts.
After that I have some hanging long sleeves tops, and the I have all of my t-shirts and dressy tops. After that I have my casual everyday dresses.
After my casual dresses, I have interview or generic work clothes if I ever need them and then I have all my going out dresses. After that I just have my belts.
In the chest of drawers, which I didn't photograph, I have a drawer for underwear, a drawer for pajamas, a drawer for all my tank-tops and then a drawer for all of my pants or jeans. Before, I used to have half my pants hanging and half folded in different drawers so I never knew what pants I had to wear. This system is so much better.

After I organised the chest of drawers, I realised that I had nowhere to put my gym clothes; all my sweat pants, leggings and tops. I borrowed a small travel set of drawers from my sister who doesn't live at home anymore to put my gym clothes in. I put this in the hall outside my room with a shoe rack that my sister also gave me.  I organised all my shoes on the shoe rack but unfortunately my heels are too small to put on it. They fall right through the bars.
So that is my new way of organising my clothes and shoes, and believe me it is so much more easier to navigate than the old way. I think the best way to organise is to group everything by what it is. If you have all your trousers together and all your tops together then you know exactly where to go when putting an outfit together.

I hope you liked this post and it inspired you to organise your wardrobe. Let me know in the comments below what way you like to organise your wardrobe or if you wardrobe is a total mess that you don't even want to attempt to tidy. I'll talk to you soon.

80's Night

Hey guys, so the other night, my friend and I decided to have a bit of an 80's night. I was so excited to try to recreate one of my favourite looks for the 80's - that of Taylor Dayne in the Tell it to my Heart music video. It wasn't the most attractive makeup look - orange eye makeup with a red lip but I really loved it. I tried to make my hair as big as humanly possible which proved to be a pretty difficult task so I basically just wore it a little messier than usual. Below are some pictures of the hair and makeup that I wore:
I also tried to recreate the outfit Taylor Dayne wore in the video as much as possible so I wore all black with a leather jacket and ankle boots. I love the 80's fashion and music so much that it was nice to escape all the college work I have at the moment and go back to the 80's for a night. Below is the outfit I wore along with the music video that inspired the look. I know her hair is a bit crazy but I would actually really love to try get my hair like that for a night, it is so cool!
I hope you liked this post. I might do another one in the future of maybe more 80's night looks or other decades like the 90's or 70's. I've been thinking of maybe doing a series on my YouTube channel of hair and makeup tutorials from different time periods so please leave a comment below or save this post on Bloglovin if you would like to see that, and i'll talk to you soon.
