Black is the New Black | My Top Shoe Picks (boohoo.com)

I was browsing on boohoo.com earlier today and picked out some of their shoes that are new in. The one thing that all these pairs of shoes have in common is that they are all black. Anyway, here are the shoes I chose:

The first pair I chose were these black knee high boots. These are flat so they are a both comfortable and stylish. These are perfect to wear in the winter with skinny jeans or even with tights and a skirt or dress.
The next pair of shoes I chose are these converse style trainers. What I like about them is that they take traditional converse shoes and add a zip to the side which I think looks really cool.
The next pair I picked are these black, lace-up ankle boots. These are one of my favourites that I chose. These would go with so many things and I just love them so much.
The next pair of trainers on the list are really simple with a very subtle hint of bling. I don't like a lot of bling but I like that these have a sort of black glitter detail on the heel.
And the final pair of shoes I chose are my favourite. They are the ones that I know if I bought them, I would wear them all the time. I'm supposed to be saving money for college but I am really considering buying them because they are only €20. I love casual high tops and these ones are really cool because they are quilted. I just love them!

So those are my top shoe picks from boohoo.com. I hope you liked this post. If you did then make sure to love it on Bloglovin or give it a +1 on Google Plus. Also, make sure to let me know in the comments below which pair, if any, are you favourite. I hope you have a great day and I'll talk to you soon.

Je Ne Sais Pas | Casual Street Look

As I was scrolling along the River Island website recently, I put together a casual look with some of the items I saw. This is sort of a casual daytime look to wear to college or shopping with friends.

The first item I chose was this khaki green bomber jacket. I have been obsessed with green bomber jackets lately. I bought one like this in a small high street shop for €25 euros and I love it. It is one of my favourite things to wear when it's not too cold out.
Next, I chose these black chunky ankle boots which I love a lot! My sister has these and I really want a pair too. They are the perfect accessory for the cooler months.
One of my favourite items from this look is the oversized Je Ne Sais Pas T-shirt. This would have come in so handy back in college when I was studying french and this was my go-to phrase (I don't know). Anytime a teacher would ask me a question in French, I could just point to my t-shirt :P I really like the simplicity of this t-shirt; the white font on the black, with the small area of designed material behind the letters.
I have never been a fan of fringed clothes or accessories, it always seemed a little too western to me. When it comes to handbags, however, it seems that I love fringe. It really just adds a bit of edginess to an outfit. Also, I love the relaxed feel of this handbag, you could wear it with almost anything.
And last of all, I chose a staple product; the black high waisted skinny jeans. River Island's jeans are great quality so I thought these would be perfect as the final item of the look.

So that was a quick look that I put together. I hope you enjoyed this post! If you did, then please save it on Bloglovin or give it a +1 on Google Plus. Also, leave a comment below of what your favourite piece from the look is. Talk to you soon.

NOTD | Black and Gold Metallic Nails

Hey Guys! Today i'm going to be a bit more adventurous with my nails, using black crackle glaze over gold nail varnish to create this cool metallic look. I really like the idea of crackle glaze because it looks like you have spent a lot more time on your nails then you actually have. If you don't know how crackle glaze works, you start off by painting a base colour (like I did with the gold), wait for it to dry, and then just paint the crackle glaze straight over it. (it's a simple as that) Then some of the crackle glaze will crack off you nails on its own and leave them looking like this design in the picture above.

I got this Angelica Crackle Glaze in the colour Black Crackle in Pennys for only around €2 so it's great value for money. The Gold Catrice nail varnish is no. 650 Goldfinger and is Limited Edition (just under €2) but you could use any gold nail varnish to achieve this look. You could also use the crackle glaze over any other colour that you like. Both red and silver are colours that I think would look really cool :)

You can buy Angelica nail varnishes at any Pennys (Primark). Barry M also do a crackle glaze that can produce a similar effect and it can be bought at most Boots Stores or you can click here to buy it on Amazon.

Hope you liked this post! Please leave a comment below if you did :)
