My Favourite Posts From 2013!

Hey everyone, I decided to do today's post because 2014 is fast approaching and I thought that we could say goodbye to 2013 with a post about all my favourite blog posts from 2013. I only started this blog in May  this year and it has already nearly got 150 followers on Bloglovin. This means so much to me and I really enjoyed 2013 because of all the blogging I was doing. Even if I was having a bad day or something, I always have the blog and all you lovely followers to cheer me up or give me something else to focus on. I'm really excited for 2014 and all the blogging I want to do this year. I want to do more look books and makeup tutorials in 2014 and really just try to make my blog the best that it can be. So here are my favourite blog posts from 2013. If you click on the titles it will bring you to the blog post.

Look book/ London clothes haul
This is my first look book post and I had so much fun doing it. I can't wait to do more look books in 2014.

Selena Gomez come and get it inspired makeup look
This is one of my favourite makeup tutorials that I've done because I came out so like Selena's makeup and it's also a really pretty look.
Ombre??
This is a tutorial with pictures telling you how I ombred my hair using the Jerome Russell Bblonde highlighting kit and I loved the results.
They're Real mascara review
This is my review of my ultimate favourite mascara; They're Real by Benefit. In this post I show the massive difference between wearing no mascara and one coat of this one.

This post is just a look I put together for College (Uni) that is really comfortable to wear but also looks quite cool.

Black and gold metallic nails
I'm not very good at nails but I love these crackle nails because they are so easy to do and look really cool. I'm hoping to get better at nails this year and do more nails posts for you all.

This is one of my more motivational blog posts. It is about not giving up on things when you aren't automatically amazing at them to begin with. Everything takes time.

I hope you liked this post. Thank you all for read my blog and leaving lots of lovely comments over 2013. I hope that you will continue to read it in 2014 :) Happy new year everyone, I hope it's a great one!

Christmas 2013 Haul

Hey guys! Today's post is a haul of all the beauty items and other things that I got for Christmas that I thought I would show you. I've tried out a few of them already so I'll let you know what I think of them so far as well in this post.
The first thing in this haul are these Ruby brushes with brush belt included. There are six essential makeup brushes that I will definitely use. I had never heard of Ruby brushes before but they look and feel like really good quality. I will let you know more once I've had the chance to test them out a bit but I am really happy with this present.

The second thing is my Christmas haul is this gorgeous River Island wallet. I just really like the design of it and quickly transferred all the stuff in my old wallet into this one. I really love River Island for wallets, they always do really nice ones.

The next thing is this Get the Look, Loveable Luxuries makeup set. There are a lot of things in this set including some gorgeous shimmery eye shadows, eyeliner, nail polish and lip gloss. I really like the colours of the eye shadows and I can't wait to try out some looks with them. I also think that the nail polish is a gorgeous colour, really metallic and edgy.

I also got this River Island London perfume. I can't really explain the scent but the River Island website says that it is a "fruity cocktail on top accompanied by addictive gourmand notes on the drydown". I've only tried it once and I'm not sure if I like it or not yet so i'm going to try it some more and see if I can get used to it.

I got two CD's for Christmas that I picked out myself and the first is Eminem's new album The Marshall Mathers LP 2. I love Eminem and have listened to this CD a few times since I got it. I really like it and my favourite songs so far are Berzerk, Rap God, The Monster, Survival and Legacy.

The second CD I got is the new One Direction Album Midnight Memories The Ultimate Edition. I really like this album too. I've listened to it quite a lot. My favourite songs on it are You & I, Strong, Better than Words, Story of my Life and Best Song Ever. I have the other two One Direction albums and I listen to them all the time and I think that it will be the same with this one.

I also got this Soap and Glory Crazy Sexy Kohl set. It has five smoulder kohl eye pencils in different colours and three Soap and Glory eye shadows. I've already used one of the kohl eye pencils and they are really good for smoking out a look. I thought that because of this that they would smudge easily throughout the day but it didn't. It was also really pigmented and I barely had to lean with the pencil for the colour to come out. I haven't tried the eye shadows yet but I really love the colours.

I got another Soap and Glory set called Powder Trip which I absolutely love. It has both brush and bronzer in and I really love the shades. I think I'm gonna use this a lot because I don't have many blushes or bronzers so I'm glad I have more of a selection now.

So that was my Christmas haul, I hope you liked it. If you did, make sure to like this post on bloglovin or give it a plus 1 on Google Plus. I hope everyone had a great Christmas :)

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner (Black Ink) Review

Hey guys, today's post is a review of the Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in the colour (Black Ink). I got this Eyeliner a few months ago in my duty free haul on the way to France and because I got it duty free, I got it for €19.10 whereas it retails at about €27. This is very expensive for an eyeliner but I'd heard great things about Bobbi Brown products so I thought I would see if it was worth the hype. This eyeliner is easy to put on, I usually put it on using my Sigma E65 small angle brush and it glides along my lid without tugging. It lasts all day long and by the time I go to bed that night it still looks the same as when I put it on, but it's also pretty easy to remove and doesn't feel like you've got cement stuck to your eyelids. The one thing that I don't like about this product other than the cost is that I feel the colour doesn't come out that Black and it's the blackest one they have. I feel like I have to keep going over it to get it as Black as I want otherwise I feel that it appears slightly grey but I do still like wearing it.

Although I do like this eyeliner and will keep using it until it's gone, I don't think that I would repurchase it because I don't feel that it is worth the price. I have used a lot of much cheaper eyeliners that are way more pigmented and I just don't think I would spend the money on this again. Some of my favourite cheap eyeliners are the Essence gel eyeliner which is only €3.99 and the Essence eyeliner pen which is only €2.99 (Click Here to see my review of the Essence eyeliner pen). Even though I didn't love this product, I haven't given up hope on all Bobbi Brown products because their concealer is my absolute favourite at the moment. You can click here to read my review on Bobbi Brown Concealer. If you haven't been put off by this review, you can buy this Bobbi Brown gel liner here on Amazon.

I hope you liked this post and that it helped you if you were considering buying this product. If you have this product already, what do you think of it? Let me know in the comments below :)

Goodbye France, Hello Christmas!!

Hey guys, I'm finally home from France. I traveled all day yesterday and didn't get home until 4 in the morning. I had to take a metro, a train, a shuttle, a plane, a bus and a car to get home and I was absolutely wreaked. I decided to do this post as a sort of goodbye to France and just as a bit of a photo diary of Rennes (where I lived) just to finish off the experience.

I went to Rennes in September to study for four months and it was a really nice city. There was one metro line that was really cheap and easy to use that brought you to lots of amazing places. The streets there was very lovely and picturesque. There were lots of cool stuff on there like a Christmas market and a big fun fair. Rennes is famous for their crepes so we saw really cute crêperies and cafes there.
At the start of the four months, we went on a day trip to a french monastery called Mont Saint Michel which was really like Hogwarts in a way. There was a big room like the great hall, a courtyard like in the movies and a giant fireplace like the ones that are used in Harry Potter to travel in the flu network. It was really funny because every room we went into felt like it was from a Harry Potter movie.
The area where I was staying was really pretty at night, especially once the Christmas lights had been put up, and unlike home where an ice skating rink is only set up at Christmas, there is an all year ice skating rink in Rennes that was fairly cheap. There was also a really pretty park nearby that was so nice to go for a stroll in that had gorgeous views and a lovely gazebo. I have more pictures of this park in my London Haul/Look Book post which was done in the park. I will miss a lot of the scenery and the 24/7 McDonalds that was only a ten minute walk away :p
When I came back home to Ireland, my house was decorated with loads of Christmas decorations which is so nice because it made me feel really festive and excited for Christmas. There are only a few days left to go and I am going to spend them at home, watching Christmas movies with my sisters and doing a tiny bit of Christmas shopping. I can't wait for Christmas.
Hope you liked this post. If you did, let me know or like the post on Bloglovin because this is a little different from the posts I normally do and then I will know whether to do more or not in the future.
Is everyone looking forward to Christmas? Leave a comment with your plans for Christmas day below :)

My Christmas Wishlist

Hey guys, here are a few things that I've had my eye on lately and know that some of them would make great presents not only for me but for any girls like a sister or a friend that you need to buy a Christmas present for last minute.

1. Urban Decay's Naked 3 : Debenhams €44
The first thing that I have really wanted since I heard it was coming out is the Naked 3 palette from Urban Decay. I have both of the first two and I absolutely love them. I've always really liked wearing neutral colours so I find that these palettes are great because I wear them all the time. I think that one of the Naked palettes should be on everyone's wishlist this Christmas because they aren't too expensive and they are fantastic quality. I've linked Naked 3 above on the Debenhams website but you can also buy it here on Amazon.

2. Gold Tone Diamante Embellished Bracelet Watch : River Island £28 (€37)
I saw this watch on the River Island website and I really like it. I've been looking to get a gold watch and I think that this one is so pretty and fairly inexpensive at the same time even though it looks expensive. I think this watch would make a really good present for a friend/sister/girlfriend.

3. Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer : Amazon £4.18 (€5)
I've wanted to try this concealer for the longest time now but I just never get around to buying it. I heard amazing things about it from other beauty bloggers and the best thing about it is that it's so cheap. I will probably just buy this for myself for Christmas as it is so cheap and then I'll finally have it. I linked Amazon above because it was the cheapest but you can also get this concealer in Boots and other pharmacies.

4.  Alien Eau De Parfum by Thierry Mugler : Boots £43.50 (€45.25)
I got a free sample of this perfume when I was buying some Christmas presents last week and I absolutely fell in love with it. It smells amazing and when I saw the bottle for it I just thought it was so cool and pretty; really unique. It's pretty expensive though so I'd definitely recommend getting a sample of this perfume to see if you like it as much as I do before you buy it. It would also make a really great Christmas present.

5. Essie Mind Your Mittens Nail Polish : Amazon £8.94 (€11)
I've noticed that I have been wearing a lot of similar coloured nail polish lately which are wine and plum colours. My big wake up call to this problem happened when I went shopping with a friend and we were looking at nail polishes. I ran over and grabbed the one that caught my eye thinking it was gorgeous and then I realized that I was wearing pretty much the exact same shade on my nails at the time. That was when I decided I needed to find different colours to wear and found this Essie one on their website. It is a gorgeous dark teal and I absolutely love it for winter time. I still love my winey-plum colours but I think that this colour is so nice and so me, and Essie nail polishes are such good quality that they last for ages.

Hope you liked this post. Leave a comment down below with what you want for Christmas and let me know if it's any of the same ones as me. I'd love to know :)

Christmas Jumpers 2013

1. Grey sequin reindeer jumper from River Island £38 (€50)
I think this jumper is really cute and I love the shape of it. It's more cropped than most Christmas jumpers and I think the reindeer is very festive.

2. Pink Santa baby knit jumper from River Island £35 (€47)
I really like this jumper. It looks super cosy and warm and it has then title of a Christmas song that I love on it. I think it would be really comfortable to spend Christmas day in but also really cute at the same time.

3. Fairisle print sweater from Next £35 (€48)
This is one of my favourite jumpers from this post. I just think it is really pretty and classy. This is perfect if you don't want to look too silly in your Christmas jumper this year.

4. Fun pudding sweater from Next £28 (€38)
This is a fun Christmas jumper that is still really nice at the same time. I like the way it has cropped sleeves because it just make the jumper look so much cuter. It looks pretty cosy also.

5. Merry Christmas ya filthy animal jumper from Boohoo.com £15 (€22)
I absolutely love this Christmas jumper because it has a line from one of my favourite Christmas movies on it.(Home Alone 2) I love Home Alone and I think this is a really fun, cheeky Christmas jumper that also looks really warm and snug. If I was going to get one of these jumpers to wear during the Christmas season, (and I still might) I would get this one because its really funny and snug looking at the same time, and it's also the most inexpensive one which is a major bonus.

Hope you liked this post :) Let me know which of these jumpers you like the best in the comments below.
