NOTD: Rimmel 60 Seconds Nail Polish (430 Coralicious)
Hey guys, here is today's nail of the day. It is Rimmel's 60 Second nail polish in the colour Coralicious. It's quite a bright colour, maybe a bit too bright for me, but I've been getting used to it as the day has gone on. I put on two coats because I thought that it mightn't look as bright but it didn't really work haha. I will review the nail polish later in the week when I've had longer to see how well it lasts and everything. What do you guys think? Is it very bright? Would you wear it? Leave a comment down below :)

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Waterproof Mascara Review
Hey guys, today I decided to review the Rimmel scandal eyes waterproof black mascara. Like most of Rimmel's other products, it is very affordable but I wanted to see how a mascara for €8 would compare against high end and other drugstore mascaras. It comes with a pretty big brush, which is something that I don't really like in a mascara. I find that when I'm applying mascara with a big brush, that it gets all over my eyelids and ruins my eye makeup- and this brush was no exception.
I didn't have any eye makeup on when I first tried it on and a lot of mascara went on my eyelids. With other mascaras this usually wouldn't really bother me, but this brush put quite a bit on my lid, and it was harder to get rid of than others because it is a waterproof mascara. I didn't need to use any eye makeup remover but I had to tug at my eyes a bit to get it off my lid. The next time I applied it I was careful not to get any of it on my lids but this meant that I didn't coat my entire lashes with mascara, just mainly the middle and the tips. I also found when I applied it that my lashes clumped together quite a bit. As you can see from the pictures below, there wasn't much difference between the before and after, and I actually thought that I had a bit more volume before and that this mascara's clumping made my lashes look quite sparse.
I wasn't very happy with the effect of the mascara but I kept it on all day anyway, and it didn't run down my face or anything. I even made sure to test out it's waterproof-ness at the end of the night when I threw water in my face but the mascara stayed put. It then came off very easily with some waterproof eye makeup remover.
Here are the results of Before and after applying the mascara:

Overall, I wasn't very happy with this mascara. It is waterproof and doesn't run but I just don't think it makes my lashes look that good. I also didn't like the brush, and when you don't like a mascara's brush it's pretty much game over for that product. I'm sure that there must be better drugstore mascaras out there for me to find so I'll keep looking. If you are looking for a good mascara, the best I've found is Benefit's They're Real mascara but it's really expensive so I've been searching for a cheap drugstore alternative to it. Maybelline's The Falsies is the best drugstore one I've found so far but it doesn't in any way compare to They're Real for me. I hope you liked this post :) Do you own Rimmel's Scandal Eyes mascara? Let me know what you think of it in the comments below.

The Ice Bucket Challenge
Hey guys, today I wanted to share with you my ice bucket challenge. If you are completely sick of them by now then feel free to skip it haha. The ice bucket challenge is to raise awareness and funds for motor neuron disease/ ALS that has affected many people such as Stephen Hawking and Lou Gehrig. The strangest, and most scary, thing about it is that it can start to affect you in your twenties, thirties or even older with no previous signs in your younger years. Stephen Hawking started suffering from it when he was 21, the same age as me. Scientists and people are baffled at this disease and are not sure why it happens. Donating money for research that is vital if we are ever going to fully understand this disease or come up with a cure so I hope we can get as many people to donate as possible, and don't worry, you can donate without having to get a bucket of water thrown over your head :P
To donate text MND to 50300 (Ireland)

Casual Look for Autumn From ZARA
1. Leather Shopper Bag (€89.95) ZARA
I really like this bag. The messenger bag is one of my favourite types of bag. The colour is gorgeous too but I was a bit taken aback by the price. I didn't think it would be any more than €40 but €89.95 is a lot for a bag. I think €40-€50 is the most I would spend on a bag right now, and that even seems like a lot when you compare it to the Pennys bags for €12. It's a really nice bag but I wouldn't pay that much for it. Also, it was just pointed out to me that this is made of real leather so I definitely won't be buying it. I don't want to be carrying around part of a dead animal with me but I guess that explains why it is so expensive. If Pennys make a faux leather version for around €20 then I would be interested but as it is right now, I'll pass.
2. Flat Elastic Bootie (€39.95) ZARA
When I first saw these boots, I fell in love. I'm always looking for a nice pair of casual boots but I can rarely find any when I'm shopping. I'm seriously contemplating buying these boots even though I'm supposed to be on a spending ban right now. I've been putting off trying them on in case I love them so much that I have to get them and ruin my plans of saving money.
3. Urban Soft T-Shirt (€19.95) ZARA
This T-shirt is a great colour, it would go with so many different things, and it is really soft (I've seen it in real life as when as online :P) Basically I just think that it would be a great addition to someone's wardrobe. You could dress it up with a big necklace and high heels, or you could dress it down like in this look.
4. Bomber Jacket (€59.95) ZARA
What I like about this jacket is that it has a very slight gangster sort of feel to it. ZARA have a couple of other jackets in this style with lots of crazy designs but I can tell if I love or hate them. This one is a little more neutral but it still has that cool look, and as soon as I saw it I wanted to build a look around it, and try to figure out what different things could go with it.
5. Skinny Jeggings (€19.95) ZARA
I love these jeggings, I have these jeggings. The only thing that is annoying about them is that they lose their shape a bit after a while so you have to repurchase them every so often. They are really comfortable though and I love the acid wash style. I've been thinking about re-buying these for a whle but I think it might be better to get an actual pair of jeans this time, not jeggings, so that they will last longer and I don't have to buy another pair in a couple of months.
I hope you liked this post. I loved putting the look together and writing it for you. Leave a comment down below telling me which is your favourite item in this look, or even just showing me what is your favourite item in ZARA right now (include a link or just a description if you can't find it online)

How to add the "Follow Me on Bloglovin' " button to the end of each blog post
Hey guys, today I want to show you a quick tutorial on how to add the "Follow me on Bloglovin'" to the end of each blog post you write on Blogger so people can easily follow your blog. It's very easy to add one of these to the side of your blog using the add a gadget tool and then HTML, but I'm not sure it's as obvious to add it to the end of each blog post even though it is just as easy. I remember seeing it at the end of people's blog posts and wondering how to do it. It was so simple that when I figured out how to do it I was like duh, obviously that's how it works but just in case you haven't figured it out yet, here is how you do it.
1. The first thing you do is log in to your Bloglovin' account and click on where it says Bloglovin button.
4. Go to your blogger account and click "New Post". When you have a new post up, write your blog post like you would normally do, and once you are done, click HTML in the top left corner of the screen. This shows you the code for your blog post.
5. Paste the Bloglovin' code at the end of the blog post's HTML.
6.When you click back on "Compose", which is beside the "HTML" button, you will then see the widget at the end of your blog post. You can use the space and enter keys to move the button to the position you want before you publish your blog post.
7. You have now added a "Follow me on Bloglovin'" button to the end of your blog post so people can easily follow you blog for more posts.

Sephora Collection Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover Review
Hey guys, today I am reviewing the Sephora waterproof eye makeup remover. I got this from a friend and was anxious to try it out. It's only a small bottle of 25ml but since it's only for eye makeup it should be fine. One of the first things I noticed about this product is that it has quite an oily consistency - not that it is a bad thing. I've seen articles online about how oil is a great natural cleanser and makeup remover so I guess it was only a matter of time before it featured heavily in a cleanser or makeup remover. This product contains castor oil which is antibacterial, one of the best oils for cleaning, and also helps to strengthen eyelashes. It also contains Procapil® which supports natural lash growth so your lashes will stay looking great as you use it, especially because you won't have to tug so hard at your eyes to get rid of all your eye makeup. Because it has such a oily consistency it wipes away gel eyeliner and tough mascara with great ease.
I don't know if you can see from the picture but there is a blue layer on the bottom, which I assume is just some of Sephora's regular eye makeup remover, which looks the same and contains similar ingredients, and then there is a layer of clear oil on top that stays separate from the liquid part, until you turn it upside down to get some out, when it then all mixes together so you can easily remove your eye makeup. It is also suitable for people with sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers, and it it is fairly inexpensive. A 50ml bottle which is twice the size of the one I have is only $7 which is about €5.30. I think that would last you a long time but there are also bottles in 125ml and 200ml if you feel that you would need more.I have been using my bottle for about two weeks now and it has only gone down to the top of the Sephora letters on the bottle so I think that this 25ml bottle could last me a good few months.
I really like this product and it is making me want to try removing my makeup regular olive oil to see how that works in comparison. I doubt it will be as good, but there is something about the oil in the product that makes makeup just glide off your face. I will definitely use it until it is all gone and then there is just the problem of getting to a Sephora to buy another one :P Here is the product on the website if you would like to see more about it or if they ship to your country.
I hope you liked this post! Give it a like on Bloglovin or a +1 on Google Plus if you did :) Have you ever tried this product, or any others from the Sephora Collection? Leave a comment below letting me know if you did, and how you liked them.

A Little Life Update + Small Tribute
Hey guys, I'm sorry I haven't posted much this week but I have been sick for the last few days. It was horrible. I was so miserable and tired all the time, and I spent my two days off work not being able to do anything but sit on the couch, watching crappy TV, while everyone else went out for the day. The good news is that I'm getting better and I was able to go to work today, even though I'm still pretty tired because I wasn't able to sleep that much when I was sick. I'm looking forward to going to bed soon after writing this but for now I want to talk about something else that happened this week.
I was really upset to hear that Robin Williams died because he is a big inspiration to me and is in one of my favourite films ever, Dead Poets Society. I only saw it for the first time earlier this year but I'd say I've seen it about seven or eight times since. I love Robin William's character Mr. Keating, who was both inspiring and funny. It is no secret that he was an amazing actor. He could be funny and serious and switch between the two so easily. Every character I've seen him play from the genie in Aladdin, to Alan Parrish in Jumanji, to Mrs Doubtfire and Mr. Keating, has been extremely believable, and he brought a certain realness to each role that only he can bring. I am sad that he is gone but at least we still have all the amazing films and characters he left behind.. and I'm not going to lie, I'm probably going to watch Dead Poets Society another ten times by the end of this year.
Also, it's coming to the end of the summer soon and I'll be going back to college. I'm a little scared about becoming too overwhelmed with everything all at once because it seems like I already don't have enough time now. I'm sure I'll figure it out but that's is one thing I've been stressing about the last few weeks. I'm dying to go back to class but I'm worried about how all my scheduling is going work out. I won't find out any of my schedules for another two weeks so I guess I should stop worrying and start enjoying the last of the summer. Talk to you later.

FOTN (Face of the night)
Hey guys, here is a makeup look that I wore out last night to a going away party for one of my work friends. Both the eye makeup and the lips were a tiny bit darker in real life but it didn't show up properly on camera because of the lighting. I've been really loving my Russian Red lipstick for nights out recently so I've been wearing it quite a bit over the last while. It's definitely one of my favourites this month. So here is the look:
Products used:
Face:
Bourjois Radiance Reveal Healthy Mix foundation
Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection concealer
Kiko Soft Light powder
Eyes:
MAC Brule eye shadow (across the lid)
MAC Satin Taupe eye shadow (on the outer half of the eye)
MAC Smut (in the outer corner)
MAC Carbon (a bit in the outer corner + under the bottom lash line)
MAC Charcoal Brown (to fill in eyebrows)
17 eyeliner pencil in black
Benefit They're Real mascara
Bobbi Brown Long-Wear gel eyeliner in black ink
Lips:
Essence Red Blush lip pencil
Mac Russian Red lipstick
I hope you liked this post. If you did, please give it a like on Bloglovin or a +1 on Google Plus. Have you ever tried MAC's Russian Red lipstick? Leave a comment below!

Just a Random Quote :)
Hey guys, I just thought that I would share this funny little quote with you today. I think it is definitely true in that the busier you are, the less time you have to waste worrying about your physical appearance. Society today makes not being perfect looking seem like the end of the world but it really isn't. If I was the most gorgeous supermodel in the world, I don't think it would make me any happier in my day to day life. When I was younger I probably thought that it would have and I wasted a lot of time being miserable because I didn't look perfect. Now I think that one of the key ingredients in being happy is being successful at something you love, whether it is only a hobby or not. Even if your not successful but your are trying, it will make a difference. Once we have a purpose in life, no matter how big or small, that we love, the more confidence we have about ourselves and then that confidence will spread to our psychical appearance too. Then we can get on with saving the world without worrying about how big our noses or thighs look :)

Visiting Fota Wildlife Park in Cork
Hey guys, so last week, I went to Cork with my friend, Aoife. We hadn't originally planned to go there, but decided it last minute because we wanted to see some animals. We were a bit worried about getting lost as I had never driven to cork before but we got there okay, and we even got to stop off at McDonalds on the way. From our arrival onward, we roamed around the park, looking at all the different types of animals as I tried desperately to stop talking like Gru from Despicable Me, which lasted that whole day and half of the next. Do ever get a weird accent in your head and can't get rid of it?? Well anyway.. onto the pictures. I guess there is no need to caption them because half of the animals are obvious and the other half are the ones I don't know the name of :P Take a gander as you please and I'll be back to you at the end of the blog post :)
The last picture is of me, Aoife and an ape, that we decided to call Caesar after the guy in the Planet of the Apes (Although he looks a lot more like one of the other Apes in The Rise of the Planet of the Apes). We saw him and decided to take a picture with him, but and as soon as we went up to him, a swarm of children realized he existed and began taking pictures with him. Child after child appeared to take pictures with him for about ten minutes before we decided to leave and come back later...oh, the awkwardness of being a grown up who wants a picture with a statue of an ape. Well, we got our picture eventually :P
I hope you liked this post! Let me know if you want to see more posts like these where I take pictures of my day or any trips I go on. Talk to you later.
