Hey guys, today I want to review the Bioderma crealine H2O solution micellaire. I heard rave reviews about this makeup remover/water based cleanser but I knew that it was only sold in France so I would only be able to get it online which would be pretty expensive. So when I moved here (France) for four months for college, I knew that I had to try Bioderma. I found it fairly fast here in France because it is available in most pharmacies and I got the 500ml bottle for €12 which I know is a lot cheaper than I would have got online.
I've had it for a few months now but when I first tried it out, I didn't think it was anything special. I had no cotton pads at the time so I just used tissue and I found that it didn't remove my makeup as well as a makeup wipe would especially the eyeliner, I needed to rub hard at my eyes to try to remove it. I started removing my makeup by squirting some of it on a makeup wipe and then using that to remove it. I know that is stupid but the I found it didn't work well at all with tissues and had no cotton pads (which I kept forgetting to buy) so I thought that by doing this, I'm using the product that I just bought for €12 and I'm cleansing my face too because makeup wipes alone don't cleanse your skin.
Here comes the good news, I eventually got cotton pads to remove my makeup and I found that the Bioderma worked so much better with them. I can even get off my most stubborn eyeliner by holding a cotton pad with some Bioderma on it on my closed eye for a few seconds before trying to wipe away the eye makeup. This works well because then the Bioderma kind of soaks into the makeup and this helps it to be removed a lot easier and gentler when rubbing it off so you don't have to tug on your eyes.
Another thing I really love it for I found out when I was doing my friends makeup and it is also how I hear professional makeup artist like to use it. When you make a slight mistake (or a big one) doing eye makeup, just put some Bioderma on a cotton ear bud and you can get rid of the smallest mistakes. I really like it for this because I'm always trying to get my eyeliner perfect and now I know that if I make a mistake that it can be easily fixed. One other thing about this product that I have found that since using it is that my skin is not as dry. Usually my nose is super dry and that can sometimes make my makeup look flaky but now it seems to be pretty normal so I'm really glad.
I really like this product now but it still is pretty expensive and hard to get ( in Ireland). I think that when I run out of it, I will try find something local and cheaper that's as good but if I can't I think I will definitely be going back to Bioderma because I really love it now. You can buy this product here on Amazon.
Hope you liked this post :) Have you tried this product? If you were disappointed with it, was it because any of the same reasons that I thought it was overrated in the beginning? Or do you love it? Leave a comment below.

Benefit Countdown to Love Advent Calendar
Hey, I just wanted to let everyone know about Benefit's new advent calendar in case ye didn't know already. Basically, Benefit's new product the "countdown to love" advent calendar is just like a regular advent calender except each day you open one of the little doors you get a mini Benefit makeup product instead of chocolate. I was so excited when I heard about this, I just think that it is so cool to have an advent calendar but with makeup instead. It is pretty expensive and is retailed at around €75 in Ireland. It contains 21 small benefit makeup products, a horseshoe charm bracelet, a star charm necklace and a ribbon bow barrette. This is such a large amount of money to pay for a lot of mini product but it is a fantastic way to try out lots of the different Benefit products if you don't know what Benefit products to go for or haven't tried anything from Benefit before.
This is very special limited edition advent calendar and I think they are already sold out in Ireland but I'm not sure about other countries. There are no more in stock on the Benefit website but I just wanted to let you all know about it because I just think that the idea of it is so cool and I'm glad that I found out that products like this existed around Christmas time. Benefit did one of these last year and I'm sure they will do more next year so if you want to get your hands on one of these products but they are already sold out in your country, you can go to your local Benefit counter in late October or early November next year and I hear that they take names for who is going to get a limited edition advent calendar because they don't make that many so you need so order them in advance. Sorry this post might be too late to help some people get a Benefit advent calendar this year but I still think that it's good to know they exist now so that at least you can order one next year if it comes to it.
Click here for full details of what products are in this calendar which is shown on Benefit's website.

The Little Black Dress
Hey guys, today's post is my take on a classic, the little black dress. I think the little black dress is a must-have for everyone's wardrobe and the accessories above are just what I would pair with it for a night out. The key element of the little black dress is that it is simple so I went for mostly simple accessories like the black clutch bag and the black platform high-heels with a gold metallic heel. I then added a statement necklace so that the look wasn't too boring or plain looking. I really think this is a gorgeous look and is also fairly inexpensive for a night out.
Here are the links if you would like to buy any of the items in this look.

Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub Review
Hey guys, today I wanted to review the Lush bubblegum lip scrub. I really like this scrub so I thought that I would let you know why. The first reason I love this lip scrub is that it's smells and tastes like bubblegum (and it's edible so you don't have to worry if you accidentally lick some off your lips). It's cute and is pretty small so it is really travel friendly. I usually just leave it in my handbag along with a lip balm in case my lips get dry throughout the day.
I think that this is a really good product to get for the winter months to make sure that your lips don't get chapped. It has castor sugar and organic jojoba oil in it to exfoliate and moisturise your lips. I've been using it every couple of days when I think my lips are getting a bit dry and it keeps them from getting chapped and gets rid of the dryness. I usually apply a lip balm after to it just to keep them soft. Any lip balm will do, it doesn't have to be a lush one. I really like this lip scrub and think that it is a must have for winter. If you want this lip scrub you can get it here on the lush website.
Hope you liked this post :) Have you tried any of the Lush lip scrubs yet? What is your favourite Lush product?

Feeling Stressed Out
Hey guys, today I want to talk to ye about stress. Sometimes I have so much to do and get so stressed that I end up frozen with anxiety. I'm so stressed about the things that I need to do that I can't even physically start them. I know that if I start doing some of the things that I will start to feel a bit better about everything but it's like I get temporarily trapped in a state of panic and just sit there thinking about everything I need to do. The main reason for this is because of college in France and how much work I have to do because everything's in french and I'll let you in on a little secret; I actually don't speak very good french, shhhh!! :P So basically I'm completely lost in all of my classes and am pretty sure that I could fail. But I'm still mostly optimistic that everything is going to turn out fine.
The reason that I felt this way today is that I have an essay due and I have no idea how to do it. That paired with a lot of other things I needed to do today made me freak out a bit for a while. I feel a lot better now because that feeling passed and I started to get a couple of things done. I know you are probably wondering that if I am so stressed and have so much to do then how come I am writing a blog post today. Well mostly it's because it calms me down and also I end up feeling a lot worse if I don't post and think I've left you down. Sometimes it is a little stressful to have the blog to think about along with everything else but it is a place I can go to get away from all the other stuff for a while and reading all your lovely comments makes my day. I want to thank you all for continuing to read my blog and leaving wonderful comments because it means a lot to me and I love having this blog.
Well anyway, I found this quote and thought it was perfect for this post. You can let stress take over your life and spend the day rolling around on the floor worrying about your life (not that I actually do that :P) or you can try to beat the stress by starting one tiny little thing that you needed to do that day and finishing it, it might just give you the motivation to start the next thing. I know sometimes when you feel like that, even doing one small thing seems impossible but if that's the case then take a half an hour and do something that relaxes you a bit until you feel you can start something and I know that even if i'm just doing anything that I needed to do that day, I feel way better and can start thinking about the other more difficult things.
Do you ever feel this way or is it just me? Please let me know in the comments below so I know that i'm not crazy :P

Friday Favourite #23 Lush Angel's Delight Soap
Hey guys, I know that I just mentioned this product in my Lush Haul the other day but there was no way I could do another Friday Favourite without having this as one. It's Lush's Angel's Delight and I love it so much. You don't know how great it is to go from the crappy 68c shower gel I have here in France (that doesn't smell that nice) to this gorgeous smelling soap. I am absolutely in love with it right now. It's a great soap and lathers up really well but the absolute best thing about it is its scent. It smells really sweet like jelly babies and I just couldn't stop smelling it in the Lush shop so there was no way that I wasn't getting it.
I got about 150g of a pink bit of the soap. The full soap of it is actually multicoloured with a large golden moon on the top of it which you can see here on the Lush website. I don't actually really like the look of it with the moon on it and all the sparkly colours and it looked way better in the shop, cut up into lots of multicoloured pieces. The size I got was fairly big so I made sure to cut it into smaller pieces to make it last longer in case it started to wear away a bit because of all the water and steam in the shower. The only really bad thing about this soap is that it is limited edition so you can only get it around Christmas time which sucks because I'm going to have to stock up for the year. It's around £3 for 100g of this soap which I happily pay because it smells so yummy. If you like sweet scents, this could really be the soap for you.
Hope you liked this post :) Do you have this soap? This is the first Lush soap I have bought so I'd love to know which one is your all time favourite Lush soap? Leave a comment below. Buy this soap here on the Lush website.

Lush Haul
Hey guys, so when I was in London last week, I went to Lush in Covent Garden. I've never been to Lush before so I was really excited to go there because I had thought about ordering some online before but I wanted to smell the different products before I bought them. There were lots of stuff in the shop that I wanted to get but I decided to limit myself to a few products because I tend to go a bit overboard at times :P
The first thing I got is their bubblegum lip scrub. I love the idea of lip scrubs and how could I not get one that is bubblegum flavour? It has castor sugar in it to exfoliate your lips and buff away all the dead skin and it also has organic jojoba oil to moisturise them at the same time, leaving them really soft. I thought that I should get this because my lips are likely to need more TLC going into winter so they don't dry out. It was under £5 which I think is fairly okay because there is quite a lot in it and you don't need to use it every day so it should last fairly long.

It was under £5 which I think is fairly okay because there is quite a lot in it and you don't need to use it every day so it should last fairly long.
The next thing I got is the R&B Hair Moisturiser. It's like a leave in conditioner that's rich in loads of oils and butters especially for dry or curly hair (mine is both). You just rub a bit through your fingers and work it through either dry or slightly wet hair and it helps to condition it and give more structure to your curls. I got the 100g tub if it for just over £11 but I think it will last quite a while because you only need to use it when your hair is particularly dry and in need of major nourishment.
After that, I decided to look at some massage bars because they are supposed to be great for moisturising your skin and leave it feeling really soft. I chose Soft Coeur because I am absolutely in love with the scent. It's chocolate and honey flavoured and apparently smells like Lush's Honey I Washed the Kids scent if you have ever smelt that before. It makes your skin really soft. You just rub it on dry skin and it melts at skin temperature so all that's left to do is rub it in. I found out though after I bought it that it has a honey and cocoa powder center which could be a bit messy so I'm not sure what that is going to be like yet. I got one of the soft coeurs for over £4 and it's my favourite thing I bought in Lush so far.
The last thing I got after I had already gotten everything else was some soap. I had bought my items and was leaving the shop when I realized that I hadn't got any soap yet which is what I had gone to Lush in the first place for, to find an amazing smelling soap. I did, and it turned out the be the first soap I smelled. The soap I got was Angel's Delight and it smells just like jelly babies. I really love it and definitely want to get some more when it's gone.
Hope you liked this post :) I'm so glad that I finally got to try Lush after hearing so much about it for so long and I can't wait to go back. If you want to get any of these products you can get them here on the Lush website. Have you tried Lush yet? What is your favourite product of theirs? Leave a comment below :)

London Baby!!
Hey guys, as you probably already know from my previous posts, I went to London for a week. I love London, it is one of my favourite places in the world. I went with a friend last Saturday by bus from Paris. We left at like eleven Saturday night and arrived around half seven in the morning on Sunday (including the time difference and after the clocks went back and hour) so we were travelling for a very long time.
We spent most of the week shopping so I have a few hauls coming up in the next week :) The one I'm most excited about is my Lush haul. I've never been to Lush before because there is none where I live so we had to make sure to find a Lush store when we were in London. The store was amazing, I could have spent a couple of hours there, looking at all the amazing soaps and massage bars and smelling everything. I didn't go too mad though, I only got a couple of things. I had to leave somethings behind because I knew if I bought too much that I wouldn't be able to close my suitcase going home :( but I will make sure to get them the next time I'm in London (or I might even order some online). I also got some clothes in Camden Market, Zara and Urban Outfitters that I will make sure to show you soon, whether it's in a haul post or in some sort of look book/OOTD.
One thing that I did in London that I didn't get to do the last time I was there, was to go see platform 9 3/4s from Harry Potter in Kings Cross Station. It was really funny trying to pretend I was running through the wall, which you can probably see from the picture that I wasn't really good at it and it looks more like I was casually strolling through the wall :P I love Harry Potter so this was a must see for me in London especially since the last time I was there it was blocked off due to construction work so I couldn't see it.
I went to Camden Market, which is probably not a good idea if you're not trying to spend a lot of money. I bought some clothes there and a cool nail printing set that I'll make sure to do a blog post about in the future, that makes nail art really simple to do. I also got a small airbrush tattoo of the Batman symbol on my wrist there because I love Batman and I wanted to see what a tattoo on my wrist would be like in case I ever wanted to get one in the future. It's really cute and small and will fade after a couple of days but it was only £2 so I thought why not :)
We didn't really do anything touristy until the last day when we had ran out of money from too much shopping :P so we went to The National History Museum, The Science Museum and Victoria & Albert Museum (which had a really cool exhibit of fashion through the ages) because they were all free. We quickly found out that we aren't very touristy people though as the crowds were really annoying and we didn't stay in each museum very long because of it.
