Zara Woman Cherry Perfume Review

Hey guys! How are you all? Today, I've decided to do a quick review of the Zara Women Cherry perfume that that I got for free as a half used tester a while ago. I thought that I might as well tell you about it because Zara perfumes are pretty cheap and usually only range from €10-€25. I'm not in love with this scent but I do like it I will wear it until it's gone, probably on and off as I wear my other perfumes as well.

This perfume is quite light and sweet smelling. The top notes are cherry and plum, the middle notes are pear and mandarin orange, and the base notes are vanilla and sandalwood. I'm not crazy about fruity scents but I think the vanilla and sandalwood saved it for me,  because I love vanilla scents, even though their is only a hint of it in this perfume. A lot of the other Zara perfumes that I've tried last quite long, but because this one is so light and fresh, I feel it fades away quite quickly. Overall, this wouldn't be my favourite Zara perfume and it doesn't last all day but it's quite nice as something light to spritz on throughout the day to keep you smelling sweet.

I hope you liked this post. Have you ever tried any of the Zara perfumes before? If so, which one? What did you think of it? Leave a comment below.

My Top 6 Zara Outerwear Picks

Hey guys, today I thought that I would share some coats and outerwear with you in case you somehow haven't gotten round to getting any yet. These are my top 6 from Zara.

1. Basic Parka (€99.95)
Everyone loves a parka jacket. I've seen so many people wearing them this autumn and I used to wear my sister's all the time. I love how casual these jackets are, that you can throw them over anything and still look nice. It's almost becoming a staple in people's winter wardrobes these days. Everyone seems to love wearing parkas in winter. Also, it's great that with this jacket, and most of the others I chose, that they last you for a few years and can be brought out of your closet for the colder months each year.

2. Hooded Poncho Cape (€79.95)
I really love the idea of capes. They are so cool and I love this slightly more casual one. It looks really warm and cosy. The only things is that your arms would probably still be cold but you could always layer lots of thick sweater or cardigans underneath to keep them warm.

3. Short Coat with Furry Interior (€99.95)
I really like this coat. Grey is such a great colour for winter and I really love the length of this. Also, it is so perfect that it has a furry inside to keep you warm through all the cold and frost.

4. Buttoned Cape Coat (€129.00)
I love this cape coat! It is so cute, like a black version of Little Red Riding Hood' cape. I just love the fact that capes are in all the shops now and I would love to get one. This is the most expensive of all the coats that I have chosen so it would have to look amazing on me to actually buy it because realistically, right now, I don't think I would spend more than €100 on a coat.

5. Parka with Patterned Fur Lining (€99.95)
This coat is a nice length and has the great furry interior to keep you warm. It's kind of like no. 3 but in black with less of a winter-y feel to it. Great to keep warm and would go with so many things.

6. Over-sized Weave Coat (€99.95)
This coat is a lovely pale pink colour and has a lovely woolen feel to it. This one is longer than the others and would be perfect for a really cold day, maybe if it snowed or was very icy. I love this because it is the typical winter coat but in quite a unique colour for one.

One thing you have to be careful about with Zara is that they sometimes do real leather and fur. The "fur" in the coats I listed are made with polyester and acrylic and other materials that aren't fur, but if you are getting a coat there and are against wearing fur then make sure to check the composition details on the tag to make sure it's not made with real fur.

I hope you liked this post. Which is your favourite of the outerwear I chose? Leave a comment below :)

REVIEW: ZARA Woman Champs Elysees Perfume

Today, I want to review a fairly new perfume of mine, a Zara Woman perfume that I love (92. Champs Elysees Paris). I first came across this perfume when my sister bought one a year or two ago, and I loved its scent. It smells so beautiful and elegant, yet soft, so it's not one of those strong scents that old grannies wear. The main fragrances in this perfume are vanilla, jasmine, caramel, and patchouli. It has a musky oriental touch to it that makes it smell amazing. It also has loads of little, minuscule white or silver flecks in it that makes it look really gorgeous that you can see in one of the pictures below.

Another thing that is great about this perfume is that it lasts for a really long time. It is one of those perfumes that you can still smell later in the day and doesn't just instantly disappear within a few minutes. I apply it in the morning and I can still smell it hours later, in the evening when I come home. One obviously great thing about this perfume is the packaging. The bottle is so gorgeous. It is one of those old-fashioned bottles with an atomizer. I love it. The only thing that you could probably say bad about it is that it probably isn't very travel friendly but that doesn't really matter to me. If you really want to bring some with you, you could fill up one of those perfume travel bottles that you can get from Boots and other chemists.

The other great thing about thing about this product is that it's pretty inexpensive. I think it retails around the €20 mark (maybe €25). I actually got mine for free in work. This was because it was a tester that was broken and the atomizer/sprayer wouldn't work (I don't think that they break very often, but I'm sure you could return it if it did). I thought that whatever I would do whether it would be smashing the bottle open and filling up a new one with this perfume, or just using the bottle as a decoration in my room, that I definitely wanted it. It's too good a perfume to throw away and it was still completely full. The good news is that after a lot, and a lot more, of struggling with it, the sprayer actually does work now, it just takes a spray or two before something will come out. I'm so happy that I have this perfume because I absolutely love it, and it's great that it won't be too expensive to repurchase when this one runs out.

I also got two other perfumes for free that I will be reviewing in the next while. The only thing about those is that nobody wanted them because they didn't like their scent but I thought I might as well take them to review them, especially since they would have ended up in the bin otherwise.

Overall, I love this Champs Elysees perfume and don't have a bad thing to say about it. It smells amazing, the bottle is gorgeous, it lasts all day and it doesn't break the bank -the perfect perfume!

Casual Look for Autumn From ZARA

Hey guys, today I was looking on the ZARA website and I put together this casual look for Autumn. First I saw the bomber jacket and I created the rest of the look around it. I just think that this is a cool look for Autumn, really casual and relaxed, but also quite stylish at the same time. I think this outfit would be ideal for going to college or shopping with a friend. I would wear the jacket open so you could see the T-shirt underneath and I would wear the bag on one shoulder with the long strap so that it would hang by my side. I think if I was going to wear any jewelry with it that it would be a really simple necklace, and probably a watch too. Below are the individual items, a link to them on the ZARA website, and their prices.

1. Leather Shopper Bag (€89.95) ZARA
I really like this bag. The messenger bag is one of my favourite types of bag. The colour is gorgeous too but I was a bit taken aback by the price. I didn't think it would be any more than €40 but €89.95 is a lot for a bag. I think €40-€50 is the most I would spend on a bag right now, and that even seems like a lot when you compare it to the Pennys bags for €12. It's a really nice bag but I wouldn't pay that much for it. Also, it was just pointed out to me that this is made of real leather so I definitely won't be buying it. I don't want to be carrying around part of a dead animal with me but I guess that explains why it is so expensive. If Pennys make a faux leather version for around €20 then I would be interested but as it is right now, I'll pass.

2. Flat Elastic Bootie (€39.95) ZARA
When I first saw these boots, I fell in love. I'm always looking for a nice pair of casual boots but I can rarely find any when I'm shopping. I'm seriously contemplating buying these boots even though I'm supposed to be on a spending ban right now. I've been putting off trying them on in case I love them so much that I have to get them and ruin my plans of saving money.

3. Urban Soft T-Shirt (€19.95) ZARA
This T-shirt is a great colour, it would go with so many different things, and it is really soft (I've seen it in real life as when as online :P) Basically I just think that it would be a great addition to someone's wardrobe. You could dress it up with a big necklace and high heels, or you could dress it down like in this look.

4. Bomber Jacket (€59.95) ZARA
What I like about this jacket is that it has a very slight gangster sort of feel to it. ZARA have a couple of other jackets in this style with lots of crazy designs but I can tell if I love or hate them. This one is a little more neutral but it still has that cool look, and as soon as I saw it I wanted to build a look around it, and try to figure out what different things could go with it.

5. Skinny Jeggings (€19.95) ZARA
I love these jeggings, I have these jeggings. The only thing that is annoying about them is that they lose their shape a bit after a while so you have to repurchase them every so often. They are really comfortable though and I love the acid wash style. I've been thinking about re-buying these for a whle but I think it might be better to get an actual pair of jeans this time, not jeggings, so that they will last longer and I don't have to buy another pair in a couple of months.

I hope you liked this post. I loved putting the look together and writing it for you. Leave a comment down below telling me which is your favourite item in this look, or even just showing me what is your favourite item in ZARA right now (include a link or just a description if you can't find it online)

I ended up deciding to do a mixture of both. I have never done a look book before but it was really fun to do. I loved picking the locations for each shot and showing off my new clothes. I definitely want to do more of these in the future so let me know if it is something you would like to see. Thanks so much to my friend Aoife for taking all the pictures and making it so much fun to do :)

London Baby!!

Hey guys, as you probably already know from my previous posts, I went to London for a week. I love London, it is one of my favourite places in the world. I went with a friend last Saturday by bus from Paris. We left at like eleven Saturday night and arrived around half seven in the morning on Sunday (including the time difference and after the clocks went back and hour) so we were travelling for a very long time.

We spent most of the week shopping so I have a few hauls coming up in the next week :) The one I'm most excited about is my Lush haul. I've never been to Lush before because there is none where I live so we had to make sure to find a Lush store when we were in London. The store was amazing, I could have spent a couple of hours there, looking at all the amazing soaps and massage bars and smelling everything. I didn't go too mad though, I only got a couple of things. I had to leave somethings behind because I knew if I bought too much that I wouldn't be able to close my suitcase going home :( but I will make sure to get them the next time I'm in London (or I might even order some online). I also got some clothes in Camden Market, Zara and Urban Outfitters that I will make sure to show you soon, whether it's in a haul post or in some sort of look book/OOTD.

One thing that I did in London that I didn't get to do the last time I was there, was to go see platform 9 3/4s from Harry Potter in Kings Cross Station. It was really funny trying to pretend I was running through the wall, which you can probably see from the picture that I wasn't really good at it and it looks more like I was casually strolling through the wall :P I love Harry Potter so this was a must see for me in London especially since the last time I was there it was blocked off due to construction work so I couldn't see it.
I went to Camden Market, which is probably not a good idea if you're not trying to spend a lot of money. I bought some clothes there and a cool nail printing set that I'll make sure to do a blog post about in the future, that makes nail art really simple to do. I also got a small airbrush tattoo of the Batman symbol on my wrist there because I love Batman and I wanted to see what a tattoo on my wrist would be like in case I ever wanted to get one in the future. It's really cute and small and will fade after a couple of days but it was only £2 so I thought why not :)
We didn't really do anything touristy until the last day when we had ran out of money from too much shopping :P so we went to The National History Museum, The Science Museum and Victoria & Albert Museum (which had a really cool exhibit of fashion through the ages) because they were all free. We quickly found out that we aren't very touristy people though as the crowds were really annoying and we didn't stay in each museum very long because of it.

I had a really good time in London and it was great to have a break from everything being in french for a while even though all the friends we made over there happened to be french, go figure :P I love London, and I can't wait to go back there again :) I hope you liked this post. Have you ever been to London? Would you like to go? Leave a comment below :)

Random Haul

Hey Guys! Today's post is a collective haul from the other day, I know I said that I wasn't going to spend any more money until I go to France but I did need some more clothes to bring over with me and I have hardly spent any money this month so I  decided to treat myself before I go :P

The First place I went was Zara, where I got two really cool printed t-shirts and two pairs of denim jeggings, which were cheap enough, just to wear casual to college with a pair of high top trainers and probabaly a hoody depending on the weather.
Zara: €19,95        Buy here
Zara : € 22,95          Buy Here
Zara: €19,95         Buy Here
Zara: €22,95              Buy Here
I then went to River Island and saw these gorgeous high tops for €40. I have bought two pairs of high tops in River Island before and I live in them so I knew that they were worth the money. I also got these really cute pair of moustache earrings for €2.
River Island: €40            Buy Here
River Island : €2                  Buy Here
I  got these really cute super hero socks in pennys for €2,50. They kind of remind me of the old batman t.v show from the 60s that I used to watch every Saturday morning when I was a kid (not in the 60s :P)
Pennys €2,50            Can't buy online
Next I went to Awear and saw this really cool letterman jacket style hoody that I just fell in love with. It's really warm too so I think it will be great for the winter months.
Awear: €35      Not on the Website
Finally, I got 2 Bblonde highlighting kits and a purple shampoo in Boots because I am planning to ombre my hair this week. I've wanted to ombre my hair for a while now and finally decided to bite the bullet and do it. I decided to do it myself because it's very expensive to get it done at a hairdressers. I did a lot of research on how to do it yourself by watching a lot of youtube videos and reading a lot of blog posts about it. I decided to get the Bblonde highlighting kit over The L'Oréal wild ombre kit because I read a lot more positive reviews about it online, and my hair is dark brown and this one seems to make dark hair a lot blonder than the L'oréal one which makes your hair more coppery. This is also the kit that Zoella and Louise from Sprinkle of Glitter used and I love how their hair came out.
1 Bblonde Highlighting Kit : €8.99
Lee Stafford Bleach Blondes Purple Shampoo: €8.49
Buy Here and Here
I got two of the Bblonde Highlighting Kits because I heard that their isn't that much in them and my hair is quite long and thick. I got the purple shampoo to take all the brassy tones out of my hair after I dye it and to keep the colour from fading. I'm kind of scared about doing this because I've never dyed my hair before but my my friend Katie is coming over on Friday to help me do it and for some moral support :P I'm hoping to do a blog post about it Saturday evening but it could be a bit later in the week because I'm working all weekend and I have a lot of packing to do. I'm planning a lot of other blog posts for this week though including "My Travel Beauty Essentials" so make sure to check back to see them or follow my blog to get updates of when I write a new post :)

Hope you liked this post :) Did you ever ombre your Hair? How did it turn out? Also, please let me know of any bad hair dyeing experiences that you've had because I'd love to know what not to do :P
