Je Ne Sais Pas | Casual Street Look

As I was scrolling along the River Island website recently, I put together a casual look with some of the items I saw. This is sort of a casual daytime look to wear to college or shopping with friends.

The first item I chose was this khaki green bomber jacket. I have been obsessed with green bomber jackets lately. I bought one like this in a small high street shop for €25 euros and I love it. It is one of my favourite things to wear when it's not too cold out.
Next, I chose these black chunky ankle boots which I love a lot! My sister has these and I really want a pair too. They are the perfect accessory for the cooler months.
One of my favourite items from this look is the oversized Je Ne Sais Pas T-shirt. This would have come in so handy back in college when I was studying french and this was my go-to phrase (I don't know). Anytime a teacher would ask me a question in French, I could just point to my t-shirt :P I really like the simplicity of this t-shirt; the white font on the black, with the small area of designed material behind the letters.
I have never been a fan of fringed clothes or accessories, it always seemed a little too western to me. When it comes to handbags, however, it seems that I love fringe. It really just adds a bit of edginess to an outfit. Also, I love the relaxed feel of this handbag, you could wear it with almost anything.
And last of all, I chose a staple product; the black high waisted skinny jeans. River Island's jeans are great quality so I thought these would be perfect as the final item of the look.

So that was a quick look that I put together. I hope you enjoyed this post! If you did, then please save it on Bloglovin or give it a +1 on Google Plus. Also, leave a comment below of what your favourite piece from the look is. Talk to you soon.

Fedora Chic | Casual Street Style Inspiration

Hey guys, today I put together this casual look with some pieces from from River Island. I really like it and the idea of wearing a fedora, although I've never worn one before. Also, I'm starting to realise that I have a very big obsession with boots and want almost every pair I see so I had to put some in the look. Below are the links to the each individual item and the reasons why I chose them.

1. Beige Neppy Sleeveless Top - River Island (€16)
This is a nice, simple top that would go with almost anything. I love the colour and the style; a perfect staple for any wardrobe.

2. Black Coated Ripped Knee Molly Jeggings - River Island (€55)
I love ripped black jeans and jegging and already have a pair that I got from Penneys for only €8 that I wear all the time. These River Island ones are gorgeous but a bit overpriced so I'd recommend getting the Penneys ones unless you want a pair that is a bit more high quality.

3. Mink Oversized Fedora Hat - River Island (€37)
I love the mink colour of this hat, it's so pretty! Don't worry- it's not made of mink which is what I thought when I first read the name. If I was going to get a fedora I would love to get one like this but I don't know if I could spend so much on something that I don't know if I would be able to pull off. I think I'll have to find one that is cheaper to buy and see how much I wear it before I get one for almost €40.

4. Grey Rose Gold Round Watch - River Island (€30)
This watch is gorgeous. I love rose gold jewelry and the style of this watch is so pretty! It also came in pink which was equally as nice but I think it's out of stock now. The neutrality of this watch means that you could wear it with so many different outfits and get a lot of wear out of it.

5. Gold Tone Filigree Pendant Necklace - River Island (€6)
This is a gorgeous, simple pendant necklace. I'm not a big fan of jewelry, especially necklaces but this is the kind of that I like, really casual and relaxed.

6. Black Heeled Chelsea Boots - River Island (€50)
As I've already said, I love boots so much, especially ankle boots. I saw a couple of other pairs on the River Island website that I really want but I always have to try to resist from buying boots because I have quite a few pairs already. These ones are really great and they also come in brown which I want as well haha. In an ideal world I would be able to buy as many pairs of boots in every colour possible but in reality, spending €100 on boots that I don't need is not such a great idea. Oh well, a girl can dream..

This was NOT a sponsored post although all the items were from River Island, I just really like their clothes! I hope you enjoyed this post and liked the look. Make sure to save it on Bloglovin or give it a +1 on Google Plus if you did. Also, please leave a comment below letting me know which item was your favourite from the look. I'll talk to you soon.

My Top High Street Sunglasses (Summer 2015)

Hey guys, today I picked out my favourite sunglasses on the high street and decided to share them with you in this post. So here are my top picks:

1. Petrie Portugal Sunglasses-Topshop €26 (£18)
I love over-sized sunglasses. These ones remind me of the type of ones that Victoria Beckham wears a lot. Very glamorous and very sheek. The perfect accessory for the beach.

2. White Rubber Chunky Frame Sunglasses-River Island €13 (£10)
The sunglasses are quite cool and lot more affordable than the last ones because they are from River Island instead of Topshop. I love the white and the gold together. They are just so pretty, and are probably my favourite pair from this bunch.

3. Isabell Sunglasses-Topshop €43 (£30)
The next pair of sunglasses are really cool and remind me a bit of something from the 60's. The striped monochrome design would go with almost any bikini or swimsuit and I really love their cat-eyed shape.

4. Light Pink Flower Frame Round Sunglasses-River Island €20 (£15)
I thought these sunglasses were very different from anything I have seen anybody wearing before. I really like the idea of adding flowers to the top of the glasses but I'm not sure if they are really me. They are a bit too girly for my usual taste.

5. Light Blue Ombre Round Sunglasses-River Island €17 (£13)
These sunglasses are ideal for me. It's as if I said could we make the light pink flowery pair a bit more me and these are what I got. As you probably already know, because I've talked about it a couple of times on my YouTube channel and used it for most of my blog design, I really love the colour blue. I also really like the sort of John Lennonesque feel to them that you don't get as much when they are pink and have flowers attached.

6. Sophie Cateye Sunglasses-Topshop €23 (£16)
These pair of sunglasses are quite similar to the white and gold pair except the have a plastic temple instead of a metal one. The pastel pink and blue together are really cute and I could see myself wearing these to beach or pool, or casually driving around on a sunny day.

So those are my top high street sunglasses for summer 2015. I recently bought two pairs of sunglasses from Penneys that I left off this list which will be featured in a Penneys Haul video that will be up on my channel in the next day or two. Please subscribe to my channel if you would like to see that video and also make sure to leave a comment down below telling which of these pairs of sunglasses are you favourite.

River Island London Perfume Review

Hey guys, today I am reviewing the River Island London perfume. This is a pretty inexpensive perfume and only costs €13/£10 for 30ml. I have to say straight off the bat that I'm not crazy about the scent. I got it as a present and it's a little too sweet for my taste. It's a very girly scent but it a bit overpoweringly sweet and fruity.

I like the simple packaging of this perfume though; a purple bottle with round black top. I also really like the name because I love London. It's one of my favourite places so I have absolutely no complaints about the name. It seems to last quiet a long time too and isn't one of those perfumes that fades away in the first hour of wearing it. The only thing that's getting me is the scent,it's just not for me. Although, I'm not in love with the scent of this perfume, lots of other people seem to like it, including members of my family and other beauty bloggers online so I would recommend trying a sample in the shop to see what you make of it. Just because I don't like it doesn't mean that you won't either.

River Island describes this perfume as "sweet and cheeky". They then go on to say,"you won’t resist this forbidden delight that gathers a mouthwatering fruity cocktail on top accompanied by addictive gourmand notes on the drydown. It is cool, effortless and a real statement fragrance for our chic girl." If that sounds like something you would like then make sure to pop into your nearest River Island to see if they have it, or if you are a rebel, who will risk getting a scent that you mightn't like, then you can order it here on River Island's website

I hope you enjoyed this post!! If you did, make sure to save it on Bloglovin or give it a +1 on Google Plus. Have you ever tried this perfume before or any of the other River Island perfumes? Let me know in the comment section below!

My Favourite Christmas Jumpers 2014

Hey guys! Are ye all excited for Christmas? There aren't that many days left now :) Today I'm am showing you my top Christmas jumpers for this year. So here they are in no particular order:

This novelty jumper is really cute and festive. I love this colour so much but it also comes in other colours like red and navy for those of you who don't like it. This is one of the more fun jumpers I've chosen.

This one is quite a traditional jumper. It has a reindeer on it just like the last one and I just love the pattern on it. It's the one of the most expensive jumpers but it looks like it's really great quality and would last a couple of Christmases.

This jumper is just another cute grey one, with snowflakes this time. I don't know why but most of these jumpers are grey. This one looks really warm and snuggly.

This one is so cute and not your typical Christmas jumper. It's a bit more everyday jumper with a hint of Christmas in it than a full blown knitted Christmas jumper.

I love this as a sort of alternative to a Christmas jumper. It's not technically a Christmas jumper but it's warm and furry and a little more fashion forward than the others.

Last but not least, this polar bear jumper. It's really cute and it reminds me of the coke polar bears at Christmas. I also really like that it has little baubles as snow on it. So cute!!

So those are my top Christmas jumpers this year. I hope you like them. Have you gotten your Christmas jumper yet? Which of these is your favourite? Leave a comment below.

Bumbags: Fetch or Wretch??

Hey guys, so lately I've noticed that bumbags have been coming back into shops which is a bit strange because I never thought that they would come back into fashion. If you don't remember them, bumbags were all the range in the 90's, mostly for going on your holidays because you could keep your money and your passport attached to your waist without having the bother of holding something. It's strange to think that they might be coming back because I don't think people in the 90's even thought they were fashionable. The good news is that, now that they have come back, they seem to be a bot more modern and the designs are a bit more on trend. I can't decide if I like them or not because even if some of them look quite nice, they are still bumbags in my mind, and when I think of bumbags, I think of tacky.

I think that bumbags do actually have the potential to become quite big though because they would be extremely handy to carry all of your stuff in on a night out, and we all know how annoying it is trying to dance while holding on to a handbag. These could definitely catch on if some of the trendy celebrities like Rihanna, Kylie Jenner or Kim Kardashian started to wear them, because then all their fans would do the same. I mean if Jennifer Lawrence wore army pants and flips flops, then I'd buy army pants and flip flops, so what is the difference with bumbags? :P

I've put the picture above so that you can see what types of bumbags are out there. If you do like the idea of bumbags, and want to get any of the ones in the picture above, I will link to the websites they came from now:
1. Pieces Siabella Bumbag Box - Asos (€42.17)
2. Black Leopard Print Bumbag - River Island (€25)
3. Black Tassel Trim Bumbag - River Island (€25)
4. Studded Panel Bumbag - boohoo.com (€16)
5. Cream Tassel Trim Bumbag - River Island (€25)

I hope you liked this post :) If you did, please give it a like on Bloglovin. What do you think about bumbags? Do you love them or hate them? Leave a comment below.

No Diggity

Hey guys, today I was looking online for some new summer clothes and I threw together this casual look. It's just a fun look with a little bit of vintage rap inspiration :P

1. Run DMC Top - H&M (€12.95)
I love a good band T-shirt and this Run DMC top is no exception. A top like this is great for looking stylish but also really casual at the same time. It's also a great way to show your love for Run DMC to the world as you are driving your car, on a shopping trip or even going to the beach :P

2.Silver Wide Ring With Faceted Plastic Stone (€3.95)
When I saw this over-sized ring, I just thought it was pretty cool and would go with a lot. I decided to put it with this look to add a little more colour and make it less matchy matchy, and also to give it a bit more edge.

3. Light Acid Wash High-Waisted Denim Shorts- River Island (€35)
I really love any sort of acid wash shorts or jeggings so these shorts are perfect for me. The fact that they are high-waisted is a major plus too and it also means you could wear the Run DMC top tucked in so that the look is a little cooler.

4. No Diggity Backpack - H&M (€6.95)
I think this backpack is really fun and just makes the look a little less serious and a bit more playful. I also like the way it keeps in with the slight rap theme of the look :P

5. Red Converse Dupes - boohoo.com (€15)
I added these red converse dupes to the look to keep with the whole casual theme, to add more colour, and also to slightly match the red in the Run DMC top to help tie the look together.

I hope you like this look :) Here are some of my favourite Run DMC songs for you to enjoy:

Walk This Way- Run DMC + Aerosmith

It's Tricky - Run DMC

It's Like That - Run DMC vs. Jason Nevins

And when talking about music from this look, how could I leave out No Diggity :P

Mother's Day Gift Ideas

Hey guys! So, because Mother's Day is coming up I thought that I would show you some of my gift ideas for it just in case you haven't got anything yet.

1. Pink Floral Quilted Makeup Bag - River Island (€17)
The first thing I thought that could be a nice Mother's Day present was this pink quilted makeup bag. It's just a really pretty makeup bag. It's a little expensive for a makeup bag but you can always get one that's just as nice in Pennys/Primark if you don't have much money to spend.
2. Personalised Card - funkypigeon.com (from €2.99)
I think personalised cards a such a great idea. There are loads of really cute/funny designs that you can choose from and personalise. I think funky pigeon only ships to the UK and Ireland but if you want personalised cards and you are from the US or Australia, then go to moonpig.com.
3. Vanilla Cupcake Scented Candle - Yankee Candle (around €20)
If your mom likes candles, then this present is the way to go. I chose Vanilla Cupcake because Vanilla is my favourite scent so I think this candle would smell really yummy!
4. Dolce by Dolce and Gabbana - Boots (€61)
If you have a big budget for Mother's Day or you just really want to spoil your mom, then why not buy her the new Dolce and Gabbana perfume called Dolce. It's pretty expensive but I bet that getting it for your mom will keep you in her good books for the next few months, if not for the whole year! If you don't have that much to spend then there are plenty of much cheaper perfumes out there that smell amazing.
5. Soap and Glory Bad Day Box- Boots (€20)
The last thing I chose was this Soap and Glory gift set. It's only €20 and it contains three great Soap and Glory products which are Foam Call shower gel, Pulp Friction body scrub and Butter Yourself body lotion. It's the perfect gift for any stressed-out mom.

So those were my Mother's Day gift ideas. I hope they helped you somewhat in making your choice for Mother's Day. If you liked this post, please give it a like on Bloglovin or a +1 on Google Plus and make sure to leave a comment down below telling me what you are getting your mom for Mother's Day.

Christmas 2013 Haul

Hey guys! Today's post is a haul of all the beauty items and other things that I got for Christmas that I thought I would show you. I've tried out a few of them already so I'll let you know what I think of them so far as well in this post.
The first thing in this haul are these Ruby brushes with brush belt included. There are six essential makeup brushes that I will definitely use. I had never heard of Ruby brushes before but they look and feel like really good quality. I will let you know more once I've had the chance to test them out a bit but I am really happy with this present.

The second thing is my Christmas haul is this gorgeous River Island wallet. I just really like the design of it and quickly transferred all the stuff in my old wallet into this one. I really love River Island for wallets, they always do really nice ones.

The next thing is this Get the Look, Loveable Luxuries makeup set. There are a lot of things in this set including some gorgeous shimmery eye shadows, eyeliner, nail polish and lip gloss. I really like the colours of the eye shadows and I can't wait to try out some looks with them. I also think that the nail polish is a gorgeous colour, really metallic and edgy.

I also got this River Island London perfume. I can't really explain the scent but the River Island website says that it is a "fruity cocktail on top accompanied by addictive gourmand notes on the drydown". I've only tried it once and I'm not sure if I like it or not yet so i'm going to try it some more and see if I can get used to it.

I got two CD's for Christmas that I picked out myself and the first is Eminem's new album The Marshall Mathers LP 2. I love Eminem and have listened to this CD a few times since I got it. I really like it and my favourite songs so far are Berzerk, Rap God, The Monster, Survival and Legacy.

The second CD I got is the new One Direction Album Midnight Memories The Ultimate Edition. I really like this album too. I've listened to it quite a lot. My favourite songs on it are You & I, Strong, Better than Words, Story of my Life and Best Song Ever. I have the other two One Direction albums and I listen to them all the time and I think that it will be the same with this one.

I also got this Soap and Glory Crazy Sexy Kohl set. It has five smoulder kohl eye pencils in different colours and three Soap and Glory eye shadows. I've already used one of the kohl eye pencils and they are really good for smoking out a look. I thought that because of this that they would smudge easily throughout the day but it didn't. It was also really pigmented and I barely had to lean with the pencil for the colour to come out. I haven't tried the eye shadows yet but I really love the colours.

I got another Soap and Glory set called Powder Trip which I absolutely love. It has both brush and bronzer in and I really love the shades. I think I'm gonna use this a lot because I don't have many blushes or bronzers so I'm glad I have more of a selection now.

So that was my Christmas haul, I hope you liked it. If you did, make sure to like this post on bloglovin or give it a plus 1 on Google Plus. I hope everyone had a great Christmas :)

Christmas Jumpers 2013

1. Grey sequin reindeer jumper from River Island £38 (€50)
I think this jumper is really cute and I love the shape of it. It's more cropped than most Christmas jumpers and I think the reindeer is very festive.

2. Pink Santa baby knit jumper from River Island £35 (€47)
I really like this jumper. It looks super cosy and warm and it has then title of a Christmas song that I love on it. I think it would be really comfortable to spend Christmas day in but also really cute at the same time.

3. Fairisle print sweater from Next £35 (€48)
This is one of my favourite jumpers from this post. I just think it is really pretty and classy. This is perfect if you don't want to look too silly in your Christmas jumper this year.

4. Fun pudding sweater from Next £28 (€38)
This is a fun Christmas jumper that is still really nice at the same time. I like the way it has cropped sleeves because it just make the jumper look so much cuter. It looks pretty cosy also.

5. Merry Christmas ya filthy animal jumper from Boohoo.com £15 (€22)
I absolutely love this Christmas jumper because it has a line from one of my favourite Christmas movies on it.(Home Alone 2) I love Home Alone and I think this is a really fun, cheeky Christmas jumper that also looks really warm and snug. If I was going to get one of these jumpers to wear during the Christmas season, (and I still might) I would get this one because its really funny and snug looking at the same time, and it's also the most inexpensive one which is a major bonus.

Hope you liked this post :) Let me know which of these jumpers you like the best in the comments below.
