STORMS.

Hey guys, today is a bit of a serious post. Throughout our lives we all go through a number of storms. Everything is fine and then something devastating takes us off guard. Something messes up the path we thought we were on or causes us to lose our way.

One thing you need to know when going through something horrible is that it won't last forever. Even if the situation may seem like it will last forever, your attitude, the amount of pain it causes you and how much it effects you will eventually change. Storms are a part of life, and whether or not we like them, they come and go. We have a certain amount of bad times that we are going to go through.

Sometimes I think it helps a little to wallow in the pain a bit and feel miserable. It helps us to grieve; to understand that we lost something, someone or a even the idea of the life you thought you were going to have. But at some point, we need to pull ourselves together and face it head on. We need to get back to our lives and not let the situation break us. There is a time when enough is and enough and you have to decide to fight it. It may not be ideal that this happened or that you feel this way but you can get through it. Just take one day at a time. Eventually the rain will stop.

Stepping Out of Your Comfort Zone Challenge

Hey guys, today I want to talk to you about stepping out of your comfort zone. This is something that I find pretty hard to do. I love my comfort zone and I like to put off doing anything that will take me out of it. The bad thing about that is that a lot of great things can happen if you step out of your comfort zone. Initially it is really scary but it usually results in something great.

I'm planning to move to a different country possibly next year and it is really scary, but what is even more scary is the thought that I won't go because I am too comfortable in my life here. I'm hoping that the fear of not going will outweigh the fear of actually going and all the scary things that come with it. To help me in this big transition of moving away in the future, right now, I am going to start doing small things that I normally would be too scared to do or just not want to put in the effort of actually doing them. If any opportunities come up that I would normally think "I don't want to bother doing that", I am going to give them a try. Think of the film Yes Man. It is a bit like that except not as extreme (I can say no to things haha).

I hope that some of you will join me in this challenge. You don't have to tell me about it, commit to doing it for a certain amount of time or anything like that, but just make a decision today that you will try to be more aware of when you are staying in your comfort zone and try to step outside of it a little bit. I'll make sure to keep you updated if it results in anything exciting for me!! I hope you enjoyed this post! If you did, make sure to save it on Bloglovin or give it a +1 on Google Plus and i'll talk to you soon.

Change

Source
Hey guys, today is a bit of a harsh inspirational quote. It's about that thing you keep putting off or are just completely ignoring. I'm sure you know what it is whether it is a big thing or just something small but as the quote says, you can't change something that you refuse to confront. If there is a problem, you first need to acknowledge that it exists before anything else, and then you need to work on changing it. Start small. Just take the first step and don't worry about the second step until you have finished the first one.

Strength & Persistence

Hey guys, I thought that I would just share this quote with ye all today because I soon as I saw it I felt better. I have a lot going on right now with trying to do well in my final year of college, a 9,000-13,000 word final year project that's due in a few weeks, a part time job where my boss isn't flexible with hours and expects me to work when I've class, and I am also trying not to let blogging or my YouTube channel slide. It's gonna take a lot of hard work over the next twelve weeks to keep on top of things and get the best possible grades I can get.

I got my exam results yesterday and they were better than I was expecting which means I might actually be able to do as well as my sister did if I work really hard this semester. The stress has been getting to me every couple of days and I feel like falling apart or panicking- it doesn't help that lots of unexpected inconveniences keep appearing like lecturers changing classes. I need to keep this quote in mind. I remember when I thought I couldn't get through last semester and I did. Whatever happens, it will all be over in a few months either way - and I think at that time I will deserve two days in bed with every episode of whatever T.V. show I want :P

If you are have a lot going on or are just going through a tough time then just remember that you are stronger than this and you will get through it. It is making you a stronger person, and life would be pretty boring without any challenges in it, wouldn't it? I'm wishing you the best and hoping you will succeed. If you would like to leave a comment below telling me some of the things that are bothering you feel free. I know I haven't been keeping up very well with answering comments but I will get around to them eventually (at the real worst, it will be in the summer) and I'll make sure to answer any comments on this post as soon as I can because I am here if anyone is feeling crappy or like they are struggling. Talk to you guys soon.

Stay Positive

Source Image
Hey guys, how is everyone today? I've decided to do this post to remind you all to be positive and to look forward to all the good things that are going to happen this year. Even if things are bad in your life right now and it may seem like it might never get better, just remember this: good things are going to happen - maybe not tomorrow, maybe not next week and maybe not even next month but eventually things will get better and good things will happen for you. You just have to wait out the bad stuff because it will eventually pass.

One great thing about keeping this quote in your mind each day is that it will help to lift your mood and positivity levels. Even if you don't believe it now, after a while you will start to believe it and feel more positive about everything, because good things are going to happen for you..yes you! As hard as it may be to believe right now.. things do get better :) Have a great day :)

Positive Thinking

Hey guys, I was just scrolling through Pinterest when I came across this quote, and I though I would share it with you. This is great to think about whenever you are scared to make a decision or worried that you will mess up. What is the worst that will happen? You might make a fool of yourself which everybody does at some point or another, plus a little embarrassment won't kill you. Or maybe you are just scared of trying and failing. Well if you never try, you will never know so it's better to try and fail then continue to think WHAT IF for the rest of your life. Try your best and if you fail, you fail, at least you can say that you tried and that you have no regrets.

Be Enough, Do Enough

Hey guys, I saw this quote today and it really made me think. The last few weeks I've been really busy with work, college, YouTube and my blog, so I'm falling behind in a lot of things. Everyday I have a big to-do list to complete and I never finish it. This post isn't about having to sacrifice any of the things though because I still feel like I can manage them all, I just probably won't be able to read the million books that I have to read for English this semester. This post is about not feeling bad if you aren't getting as much done as you want. Sure, if you lay on the couch all day and do nothing then you can feel a bit guilty, but if you stayed all day in the library to get an essay done and got half of it done, then you shouldn't feel bad about that. This seems pretty obvious as I'm writing it, but if you are like me, you will feel like you should have been able to get that done, and now you're behind on the work you have to do tomorrow already.

Today, I have the day off work and I have so much to do but I want to be able to say at the end of the day, that no matter how much I got done, it was enough. This post is quite similar to the one I wrote last month, "Go easy on yourself", but I guess I just find it hard to say that I'm doing enough and working hard enough. Have you ever felt the same? I just want to say thank you to everyone reading my blog and watching my YouTube videos because they are something that I really enjoy doing when I'm taking time away from all of the other stressful things I have to do each week. It nice to relax and write about my new favourite beauty product or mess around filming a fun challenge video.

I hope you liked this blog post. Have you ever felt liking you are constantly trying to get things done but not nearly getting as much done as you should? Or are you really relaxed and never get stressed out about those sort of things? Leave a comment below :)
